What would you have done differently? My read on how the match went was precisely that Yorr was a massive counter to what you had planned and you would have needed to work hard to overturn that he brought the counter to your list AND the counter to your counter to his counter.

It's got to be very difficult to avoid Fenn Rau going down quickly, and trading him for QD seems like as good as you could really expect to get. The mass of stress from the first Maul was an unwelcome problem, as well.

Well, even after the engagement started as it did, I should have focused on Yorr when I had the chance. I got it in my head that he'll just run away, but I could have ditched the 2 remaining stress (the round after killing QD) and 2 harded left + maybe even boosted.

I don't know if that would help, but killing Yorr in the next 1-2 rounds would at least give me a fighting chance against Inquisitor.

Generally though yes, that particular list (expertise + Yorr) was a really tough nut to crack, and Palpatine was back with a vengeance.

Scum faction has a few excellent pilots but then you pretty much drop straight from Tier I to Tier III with nothing inbetween. I recently went about reorganising my collection to put all the 'good' pilots & upgrades together so I'm not constantly looking for Biggs/Quickdraw etc in sea of Red Squadron Veterans, and it was really noticeable just how few Scum pilots I set aside. The faction is paper-thin, and with Fenn Rau not being particularly good right now it's taken a massive hit from the (entirely correct & needed) Nym and Jumpmaster nerfs.

What would be Scum's niche then, if he's wrong?

The only really top tier thing Scum currently has is Timewalk Assajj, and she lacks. Apart from that, everything you can try with Scum can be done better by either Rebels or Empire IMO
