In the last king you run around taking control of clues from bystanders instead of discovering them from locations. Does taking control of a clue work to satisfy the condition of discovering a clue at your location to pull clues off coverup? I gut tells me no. We ran into a similar issue with the fanatics in curtain call where you take control of the clues on them instead of discovering the clues they had when you kill them.

Unfortunately it does not. However in that scenario, the entrance location starts with Clues, and Bystanders who turn Lunatic drop their clues when they turn.
