Hello, I'm going to a store event and came up with this Fenn / Ghost build that I wanted to be an autopilot build where I do the same exact steps every round. It is 95 points for a big bid. I expect to see a fair amount of Ghost and PS11, Rhoboats and QD/Vader. I am looking for thoughts or feedback?
Inspired by a recent Mynock squadron post and the Polish discussion, I picked Chopper and Synched turret. List is below my plan. I am going to do this exact set of steps every turn and see how it plays out.
Plan:
- Push Ghost in very close and take Target Lock action.
- Fenn Rau coordinates the Ghost boost from Leebo.
- If there are Harpoon or other Ordnance target locks, then Counter Measure the locks off the Ghost (it isn't for Agi, it is only for removing target locks from alpha strike or rhoboats).
- When shooting, Fenn cancels any focus for R3 and wants to miss to trigger Rex to token stack focus and evade after coordinating - do this every turn to make it very hard to take out Fenn.
- Ghost shoots whatever does most damage (front arc, turret) and then free fires turret. FCS and Han Solo mean your action doesn't really matter, you get the best of both worlds. If a person is using double Ion as a counter, then you can use Leebo without concern since 2 vs. 3 ion doesn't matter and if you can arc dodge, all the better.
