I'm just going to say, it is EXTREMELY satisfying to Boba off the Ghost title. I managed to pull it off yesterday at the Seattle regional with Tel on his 2nd life. Guri and Fenn gave 0 **** about one TLT volley per turn and no rear arc. They were able to close it out with ease.
I hated to do it to my opponent, who's one of my favorite X-wing opponents ever, but sending cancer into remission always feels good.

How did you do overall?
I went 4-2.
-Beat Asajj/Bossk by 3 points. Super weird game with a lot of intentional bumping (and I forgot to use Tel's APLs all game)
-Lost 0-100 to QD, Vess, TIE shuttle because I went for a block with Guri and missed it, and she died horrifically.
-Beat 2x resistance bombers/AP-5 with Sabine. Boba'd away a bomblet generator, lost Fenn to a single proton bomb (Major explosion->direct hit+Sabine), and Guri closed it out.
-Beat Blair's 7 Z-95 swarm. Managed to Boba away a harpoon. I only killed 3 Zs but arc dodged and slipped traps and lost nothing (though both Guri and Fenn had some scary moments).
-Beat the Ghost Fenn boogeyman by killing Fenn with Fenn
and barely sneaking through the Boba crit before Tel died (again)
-Lost 0-100 to Gordon's Rey/Lowhhrick (winner of the Portland System Open). I didn't realize Kanan allows Rey to fly thru debris without stress, and he boosted into range 1 of Guri and she got pasted.
I was very satisfied with my 4-2 record and didn't feel like I had any gimme games. I took the list because I love Guri and wanted to fly her regardless of the meta since I couldn't come back for day 2 even if I made it in. As it happens, my 2 losses were in games where Guri died quickly. Maybe she's the linchpin after all.

What did you use to enable Boba? Seems somewhat difficult with a post-nerf JM5k.
A score to settle. Tel can handle the debt to pay decently well by sweeping away nasty crits when he reincarnates.
I considered a harpoon scurgg but I have way more experience with the JM5K.

I want to hear more about this mystical ability of Kanan's to allow Rey to fly through debris without stress. How does that work?

Have you posted your list somewhere?
Also, why take off the title instead of the turret? I guess it's the difference between facing a single turret shot, or facing double primary arcs.

No idea if there is a clarification on this, but if it works, I would assume that is because debris stress happens when you execute a maneuver, while Kanans trigger is after you execute a maneuver.
Oh god.
Well, it's right there in the FAQ, page 19, since before 4.4.0, since it wasn't in red text in that version. Kanan happens after the "clean up" step, and Debris stress happens earlier, after the "check pilot stress" step. Likewise, Kanan can remove stress from not just his own, but a friendly ship.
Now, why this works but Kanan/Intertial Dampeners doesn't I have no idea (other than "because FFG said so"), but that greatly elevates Kanan. I really gotta fly more of my Rey/Super-Cassian build more, since it will really allow Cassian to fly over debris without consequence. Heck, might have to switch Countermeasures to Snuggling Compartments/Rigged Cargo Chute.

Every week the ghost/fenn list is less and less prevalent.
Ghost/fenn is a good list but, it isn't an unbeatable colossus.

You've got to look at the meta impact, rather than just the performance of the list itself.
Ghost/Fenn eats lists with no passive mods. It's very possibility of being present means that you need a list built to be able to have a chance against it. No Wookies. No Swarms. Etc, Etc.
The ghost/Fenn build is one of the easiest meta lists to beat ever. Especially Lothan/Fenn, since you don't have to deal with Kanan's ability too. Simply kill Fenn while keeping at least one ace alive and you've won.

Both Guri and Fenn thrive at range 1, so eliminating the rear arc is big. Neither are particularly threatened by a single TLT volley when they've got 3 agility, autothrusters, and a focus nearly built in.
It also locks the attack shuttle in place which is not nothing. It means when the Ghost dies, the attack shuttle is 25% dead too and isn't allowed to shoot, as well as popping out at a time in which it's too late to block.
Also, Maul becomes an extremely risky proposition with only a single TLT volley. The chances of hitting with a single TLT aren't fantastic, and the chances of ending the turn stressed are much higher. This means no K-turn (which means no primary to worry about) and predictable moves are great for range 1 experts.
There are some lists where I'd consider removing the TLT, but with 9 hit points of autothruster aces left on the table, a single TLT is entering a damage race it really can't win.
I haven't posted the full list, but I intend to do a write up in the next day or two. It's:
34: Guri, both titles, Attanni, adv sensors, autothrusters
32: Fenn, title, Attanni, autothrusters
34: Tel, A score to settle, Boba, rigged cargo, APLs.
Not super top tier but it's efficient, hard hitting, and fun to fly.

Well I’ll be a monkeys uncle. It does say that! Thank you for pointing that out. Wow.
And.... I agree. Why would the ability not trigger for inertial dampers and dare devil?

They really gotta do something like the attack flowchart for the movement phase. Clear spots where the different kinds of triggers happen. Things aren't too bad, but having a nice chart--particularly one in the FAQ itself, so it's easy to reference--would be great.

Well done! I was at the Seattle regional as well and managed to beat a ghost fenn with my triple kimogila and thweek list. Also managed to go 4-2 and missed cut by 20 MOV.

I always love me some Rey/Cassian. one of my favorite pairings... what is your Cass?

Oh I saw that list, congrats on getting so close you could taste it! My MoV was crap, so I needed a 5th win to make it. As it was, I got 54th place.
Man, there were a lot of starvipers there. Brought a tear to my eye.

Because Kanan says 'after you execute a maneuver...'
Debris is 'After you execute a maneuver receive...'
So they both have the same timing effect, so the player can choose.
ID and Daredevil are 'execute such and such a maneuver. THEN receive one stress token.' It happens at a different time, after the maneuver step is completed.

Expert Handling, AdvS, I.Recruit, Kyle Katarn, title, Experimental Interface. Stole it from @wurms I think. I was already in the habit of running debris with the list, since I'm not quite expert at judging pre-move barrel rolls on a large base, and I didn't want to lose shots. Even if Cassian gets stressed, he can clear it next turn and still wind up with at least one focus token from Kyle, no matter bumps and such.

yup, I run the same, stolen from the same guy. it's so good. A lot of fun, not the most competitive, but it's janky and tons of fun!

GHOST + FENN FOREVER!
I agree that the Ghost expansion, and Ghost/Fenn in particular, is busted. I've literally *never* flown the Ghost before. It sat at home on a shelf because it was too big for my box. I mixed up a Kannan/Fenn list and went to the 150+ person Seattle Regionals where I made the Top 32 cut at #26 and was ranked at #15 at the end of the 5th round. I bumbled it, ran into rocks, and let people basically just have Fenn and I still made enough wins and MOV to get to day 2. It's literally a brainless list and I felt worse winning with it than I would have losing with my original list from the Portland System Open. I hope that my addition to the cancer helps bring about a nerfing FAQ faster because the cut was loaded with this stupid list.
A real solution would be to prevent both shuttles from being in the same list. Since in the rebels show they never coexisted anyway.
Don't take away my synced turret ffg! Its wholesome and fun!
