Double Upgrade Card

By Arachneo, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Thinking on who Upgrade cards funtion. I have a doubt.

If a card is equipped two times, it's effects applies two times with only one trigger?

An example: Jake Farrell with two Intensity. Is posible that Farrell finish with five tokens and two free actions (boost and barrell roll)?

Or i have missed something?

How is the timing for that?

The A-Wing title prevent equiping the same Elite Upgrade...

There are ways to equip two of the same upgrade card, like putting two Recon Specialists on a Lambda, for example. It will perform a focus action and get 3 tokens for it. The trigger will activate on both cards both times.

But if you have two Inspiring Recruit, yes the two triggers with the same stress removal.

And if you could have two intensity, I think you would end up with 4 tokens, not 5...

Boost -> two triggers -> two tokens

Jake intercept with is trigger -> Barrel Roll

Two triggers again -> two tokens

Then Jake can't do Boost or Barrel Roll anymore, so the rest of all the Intensity triggers resolve...

But I may be wrong...

You can't, so it's a moot point.

I know the title prevents this combo. Just an example for the most complicated trigger (with the same card being activated two times) to understand the mechanics.

Thanks for the answers.

Just begin with Concentration and add a token more. That's the way i've seen to play Jake. ;)
