I really enjoyed this episode. Having a sort of statistical rundown of many store events and looking at the trends was really interesting. I hope it also inspires others to do more formal postings of what happened in their local store be it a championship or organized play.

I think this bolded part is key. I play 2 tournament games per month, but I play 4 league games per month, and I think that's going to be a source of a lot of good (and fun) information about Runewars. Because where the game is now, I'd venture to guess that most people aren't attending tournaments, but are playing with their family at home or with their friends at a local shop. I'm going to try to take better notes on my league games, and maybe get some of the other armies that people have run so I can do a good report when my current league ends.

I hope people do. Please email us [email protected] and we'll talk about it on the show.

To me this is really a shame. I think there is a large portion of the gaming population that gets intimidated by tournaments and don't go. The best strategy for me is to let go, relax and treat it like a party where everyone is playing RW (or whatever). It's a great way to meet new players and get more games in.
