Expertised for vs Sensor Jammer, free to barrel roll or TL, RCC and APL to control and frustrate, annoying efficient crew choices...

on a good turn been able to drop 3 Rigged Chutes on one ship isn't anything to scoff at (don't know why you would drop all three)

And large base barrel roll is strong and covers ground so would be in and out of arc easy enough.

i think it's good legs, would need practice like every list though.

APT or Ion Projectors?

i dont like expertise on 2 dice attacks.

a 2 dice expertise attack has an expected damage of 1.5.

a 3 dice trickshot attack has the same expected damage, but higher crit chance, is not stress depended and way cheaper..

With the amount of TLT around I suspect the plan is to use action to BR into R1 (out of arc preferred) and create blocks.

I would personally; put one Ion Projector and 2 APT. Because i would gun and kill the ion one first as it's gonna cause pain. I suspect most would also; but that gives you a ship to bait with.

You should compare it to attacks against sensor jammer though.

A couple of games convinced me there's something in here, although I found I was being very congested with 3 large ships trying to do very similar things. The original Attani squad solved that by bringing a third Jumpmaster with torpedoes, so how about this...

The Scurrg is bringing a long range damage threat the list was lacking, plus bombs, plus Autoblaster for pesky aces, plus Collision Detector and R4-E1 both work here - I can 'troll & poop' my Proxy just like I can 'sloop & poop' my RCC. It seems to tick a lot of boxes.

Looks pretty nifty.

In the last days before the Attanni nerf, I saw someone replacing one of three torp Jumpmasters with an Attanni Lok Revenant (no missiles), to pull in a TLT and diversify the threats a little without really opening up new weaknesses. A Scurrg in this looks like it does pretty much a similar thing: it adds a different kind of threat (Harpoon/ABT) while not really opening up new weaknesses. On paper, I think it'd be great to get the Karthakk upgraded to a Lok, but I don't really see a way to do it, other than cutting the bomb package.

Which is where this started before dropping to a Karthakk to include the bomb package!

I have recently made a triple JM5K list that I thought would be kinda fun:

JM5K - APL, Opportunist, Dengar, RCC

JM5K - APL, Draw their Fire, Hotshot Co Pilot , RCC

JM5K - APL, Wired, Maul, RCC

Because they are all PS3 they can choose which order to shoot so Hotshot shoots a target to get rid of a focus, then Maul shoots incase the focus isnt used so they might choose to use their focus then Opportunist comes with an extra die which can be 4 dice at range 1 with dengar and a focus. and for defence they will probs go for the Hotshot which allows your rerolling JM5Ks to last longer.

What do you think?

Yeah it's really similar, just small tweaks. I'd need to see how Maul/Wired interact as I imagine Maul is solving his own stress, and I found being stressed a real chore.

We're working in the same space, for sure.
