Going to be running demos at a con this coming weekend, and wanted something a bit more exciting than the basic demo game. It is based on the carnival shooting games, where you try to score as many points as possible in a window.
Each play station consists of the player ship (one large base) and a few squadrons. They have only one upgrade, an admiral. The play stations are as follows:
MC75+Raddus+CR90(for Raddus)+X+Y+A
MC80+Ackbar+X+Y+A
ISDC+Vader+2xT/F+T/A+T/B
ISD2+Thrawn+2xT/F+T/I+T/B
Each play station is set up in the bottom left corner of a 3x3 pointing at a line of ships and fighters set up at a bit beyond distance 5. The target lines are:
One large ship,3 other ships,3-4 fighter bases of the other faction. Setup is below, things are a bit cramped since I have limited table space at home. I used MC80L because they are a bit easier target than MC80H.
I have attempted to keep the target ships to the more iconic ones, so no AF2,MC30.
Target ships will:
Move at speed 2, and only turn to avoid running into friendly ships
Shoot if possible.
Use defense tokens (ISDs are harder targets, but the rebel side arcs should get more shots.)
All activate before the player ship
go off the end of the 3x3, it has escaped
Points:
Large ship 6
Medium ship 3
Small ship 2
Fighter base 1 (bonus 1 point for killing all rebel fighters)
=16 points of targets
10 points are needed to get the "prize" which is a button with a picture of the play station's admiral and some witty text.
Additional "bounties" will be offered as I feel they are earned, mostly cleaning out some of giant pile of promo cards that I don't want.
Feedback would be welcome
