I figured I’ll share my weekly Epic experiences here!

These shots are from last week when I flew 10 X-Wings (6 T-65s; 4 T-70s) against a force of 11 Scummy Villains, including a phalanx of 5 Mangler Scyks!

These are from a few weekends ago from a game of Team Epic. My brother and I flew 8 Interceptors, 2 Ion/D Defenders, and a Gozanti. Both Epic ships got melted almost immediately, but our Swarm of TIEs also got their fill in annihilating the Scum!

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like this stuff. Epic is my favorite format for X-Wing because I love having a stupid amount of ships out just getting blasted away! I also do my best to take cinematic shots, especially with the magnetized minis

The mat is actually a friend's. He lets us use the 6x3 black and blue starfield almost every week. Makes for a great background and super convenient setup.

Please keep sharing. Those shots look amazing. Finally have my regular group willing to get into more Epic, we start this weekend.

That last shot of the TIE/D on the prowl is the money shot.

I love seeing so many Interceptors on the board!!!

Here’s some more oldies! Haven’t had the chance to play Epic lately since we have a Regional coming up this weekend, but after this weekend I’ll be jamming Epic games full throttle again!!!

Just curious, all the epic ships have blank templates. Is that just for the pictures? Or is there some weird epic rule I don't know

In standard play, you can choose to use one epic ship as an obstacle instead of using three asteroids. When its your turn to place an obstacle, you place the ship as you would an asteroid but you have the ship token upside down showing only a blank star field.

Edit: I would have to check, but I believe this is not allowed in the tournament rules, but instead only for casual play otherwise it would make for some great fun with a Trick Shot squadron.

At my LGS we play a modified Epic format I've been working on that uses 300 points of small base ships with three asteroids/debris and a huge ship as part of the obstacles per player.

Thanks! I hope to get more action shots up soon, but I need to play more to do that... Life's been kicking my *** lately but I can't wait to get some ships and dice on the board again!
