Quick question about order of operations for modifying dice. Timing flow chart says that after the alter rolls the defender can modify dice then the attacker modifies dice. Assume the attacker rolls two blanks and a focus, it is now the defenders opportunity to use sensor jammer, but no hits are rolled to jam. Attacker chooses to use target lock to reroll. According to the flow chart rerolling is considered modifying dice. After the refilled dice are thrown 1 hit comes up. Does sensor jammer come into play again even though the flow chart says that you are past the point where the defender can modify dice?
Sensor Jammer

No. The timing window for the Defender to use Sensor Jammer has already passed.
The timing chart shows that the defender modifies attack dice before the attack modifies attack dice. There is not a second opportunity for the defender to modify attack dice after the attacker uses modifications.

This was my understanding as well.

Otherwise, you get to do an infinite loop of defensive mods lol.
Sensor Jammer defense mod. Attacker rerolls. spends focus. Sensor Jammer defense mod. Attacker can't reroll again. No more focus tokens. Sensor Jammer defense mod. etc.

Sensor Jammer versus Poe crashes the game.

Like the Jam Action (looking at you TIE Reaper) and Nien Nunb (T-70 Pilot)??

I'd love to see their playtesting report log of all the ideas they initially had that created these scenarios.

Yeah, wouldn't that make amusing reading?

I think it's possible that small-ship Jam just assigns a Jam token, rather than double-stress. Clearly, I don't have much to support that, but I thought it looked like it said it removed tokens, rather than added stress in the article.
Granted, huge-ship Jam exists in Epic play.
I certainly hope you are correct. With the recent attention (two updates in 2 months!) to the Huge Ship Rules maybe, just maybe, they will errata the Jam Action to do the same unilaterally. It is, after close examination, the same action icon on both cards. Makes sense, flechette based weapons assign stress - scrambler missiles assign a Jam token and, with something named a "Jam token" why wouldn't the "Jam" action assign it?
I do hope you're on to something here...

...other than the wording in the preview article, and the fact that the pack actually contains jam tokens, of course:
"This ship bears the unusual jam action that lets you jam nearby ships and prevent them from using a focus, evade, or target lock."
Barring major, major, SLAM-and Bomb style preview article errors, it's fairly obvious that the TIE Reaper's Jam action is not going to be the same as the Epic Jam action, and rightly so.

xwingminiaturesgame.exe has stopped working. Send crash report to FFG? [YES] [NO]

Accepting that there are politicians I trust more than FFG preview articles, I hope they follow through on this quote and errata how Jam works in Epic also. Assigning stress is so cliché, assigning Jam tokens is new and exciting!
