In our group of gamers. No one is allowed to use the force to change die rolls. Ie. If one person uses it the other will use it. No bueno. Things get very ugly real quick. Do the players in your group go by the same rule or is it just our group?
Using the “Force”
I prefer to just take out the middleman and force choke my opponents. It's clearly the best way to win, only a scrub would make a different choice.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster
It must depend on your local meta. No Force Sensitives at all in my local area so it's never an issue. I imagine if they start cropping up then we'll have to make a ruling

Like hitting someone with their car?
I remember that troll thread from when I first joined the forums.
We make sure the ysalamiri are well fed and are in place near the play area for major events.

I think I remember that one. Didn't the guy claim to hit someone else's car with his truck outside of their FLGS because of an X-wing game?

I introduced a friend to the game and as soon as he had the basics down, he started trying to use the force to fudge his attack dice. He was playing the X-Wing in the starter set so he had more firepower by default anyway.
I told him it was rude, and that he should stop, but caught him out again trying to change hits to crits so I packed up my toys and we’ve not spoken since.

Better than keeping some Voxyn standing by, I guess. That gets messy really fast.
I wiggle my fingers at my dice before I roll them.
They still come up blanks, usually.
In one game, one of my ships was in a bad spot. Out of position, out gunned and out numbered, I needed three evades to survive. Just before the roll I said, "These are the evades I'm looking for". I then proceeded to roll my three evades. The ship died the next turn but we had a good laugh about the coincidence.
Yeah, "coincidence". I'm sure you used to go by another name that you haven't heard in a long time. We know who you really are .

Yes at first, then he claimed to hit the owner of said car when he pulled a knife... I think.

Take Whisper with stealth device or a cloaked scum Hwk (use Dace bonearm for maximum trolling) and stay perma cloaked. because of the “force”, 5-6 “natural” evades for an entire game should have everyone quit that non-sense pronto.

Not sure if serious....or maybe I misunderstood.
Was actually trying to physically change the facing of his dice, or was he just pretending to use the force on them to will them into good rolls?
Because...if it's the latter, that's a terrible reason to lose a friend.

He's continuing on with the original poster's joke that the Force exists and that a friend did use it. I imagine the entire scenario was fabricated in jest.

Whoah, whoah, now he's ingesting fabric?

They don’t call it fruit of the loom for nothing...
Apparently the Jedi are okay with using the force to cheat at dice, so why not do it in real life?

That's what I was hoping. Just didn't get a tongue-in-cheek vibe so I was just checking. I've lost friends over silly things, so no judgement. Just wasn't sure if I was understanding.

The last time I tried to use the force, my cat looked at me funny and ran out of the room.
I've been reluctant to try it again.

A Jedi "by any other name", right?

It was absolutely in jest
