I went something like 13-3 including winning a league end 8 person tournament with this.

Why it was effective and a good teacher for me? I learned to not care about stress or obstacles. I learned you can do white maneuvers when stressed and fly through rocks and people will not see it coming. I learned that people like to chase you even when it is a bad idea for them. I learned that good arc dodgers are good blockers. I learned that the good, safe move is often the worst move because its predictable. Go where they won't expect you to go and you may not get a great shot, but if you get a bad shot and they get no shot, you won that round.

Now I look for ways to do the unexpected (and get away with it). So my signature list is the one where people say, "You're flying what?" I win about 60% of the time with it, but I have fun 100% of the time.

I don't know if it's just because of my local meta, but the locals have learned to fear my TIE swarm. It's gotten to the point where people have come up to me and said "See this build? I made this like this specifically to deal with those!" *points at my swarm*

Back in the day it was Kyle, Garven, Dutch. I would occasionally throw a bandit in there as well. It then turned into Jake, Poe, Kyle. Had alot of success with that list and I always keep it with me if I ever do a pick up game.

Was great fun to erase someone with 2 Prockets fully modded then dance around with Norra to finish what was left

For a very long time, dual ion IG-88 was my tournament list. That was until combos erupted where 4 to 5 hits from higher arc dodging PS pilots could reduce them to ashes. I still bring them out from time to time during casual nights (they are not competitive for tournaments), and the sight of them and the simple custom paint job still causes some worry.

In epic, my trademark Raider is a fearsome sight. I had painted every "dark" spot painted red and jockingly said that there was one red armor plating for each victory. After so many games, that statement is getting progressively more true

These days, I'm still searching for my next build and hoping that the missing SWK will be the scum holy grail that I'm hoping for

When the k wing came out i bought 3 right away and flew this for a long time and basically stopped flying it cuz I got tired of winning. Granted it wasn't 100% win but it was high. I learned to fly formations for maximum fire power, but also learned how to break away effectively with the range 3 on the fly still allowing for overlapping shots. That version of Miranda is super hard to kil. unlike the classic 4tlt y wing you have a range 1 turret with all 3 so even when your enemy gets in close you can still punch pretty hard.

I get a lot of flack for sensor jammer but that plus Kanans ability plus the evade token has turned piles of red dice to nothing. It's so satisfying to watch ppl set up an opening salvo of torps or something and get zero hits with something they spent the points on. Classic chewie with evade and 3p0 game makes him pretty hard to shut down as well. Double pancakes have always been hard to take down but these 2 are my favorite
