A little creative Sunday fun.

Choose you favorite X-Wing chassis.

Choose you favorite existing pilot ability (you can cross factions!).

Give your pilot a PS that you think reflects your ability in X-Wing (so, unless you've won worlds, PS9 is out :lol: )

Choose your pilot name or call sign.

When you perform a barrel roll, you must perform a free boost action using the straight template. (move sideways, then down :V)

For realsies though, my two preferred mechanics I'd really like to see in game somehow are:

Action: add +1red/-1 green or add +1green/-1red. (Expose, but it works continuously without havign to be re-upped each round. Initially written as a PC-game-style shields/weapons rebalancing thing)

WHen attacking, you may roll one addition die, plus one additional die for each enemy ship at range 1. After completing the Attacker Modifies Attack Dice step, you must cancel one attack die, plus one attack die for each enemy ship at range 1. (A very powerful ability that gives you highly reliable reds, but not MORE reds.)

Originally I would have said on a TIE Defender, because I like them, but these days, probably on a SIlencer or a T70.

as well as

Bomb chute × 0 pts

Modification. TIE Striker only.

You may equip an additional modification. Your upgrade bar gains the bomb item. You cannot equip bombs with the ACTION: header.

and a Thermal detonator.

Makes the AS/Recon/Weapons Guidance/title/Mara Jade build even scarier.

Tie Bomber:

At the end of each activation phase if you are touching another ship or an obstacle assign a focus token and increase your attack value by 1 for the rest of the game. There is no limit to potential total attack value that can be obtained in this way, each ship or obstacle from a given activation counts as 1 additional dice. At the end of the activation phase if you are not touching another ship or obstacle receive 6 face up damage cards.

At the end of the subsequent combat round, remove your now destroyed ship.

Ability: If you are the last ship remaining, you must declare '"it'll be funny", and move towards the closest enemy each round. You must re-roll all to-hit and evade dice.

I think this quite nicely sums up that this is a game and meant to be fun, and that charging your opponent is far more fun and unpredictable than just running away trying to conserve points!

(It also represents me not taking the game or myself too seriously. Which is important if I want to have fun! :D )

Whenever I roll exactly two defense dice, I get insanely good luck. Z-95's, YT-2400s, TIE Bombers, Rey. All of those ships seem to usually roll two evades for me.

Soontir Fel rolls four blanks of course, but the two dice roll perfectly...
