I guess I was thinking capital ship and used by a major faction. if I am remembering correctly this was a ship made from scrap yard junk by pirates, I mean they also put tie fighter engines and wings on an at-st's head and flew that around.

I see you never played X wing alliance.

I'm thrilled to see the pre-star destroyers make it back to the universe. The cantwell protos are really cool, and now that star wars is big we don't have to worry about getting lost next to forgotten titles like space 1999.

I don't get it. People complain about everything triangles, then a non triangle shows up and everyone loses thier minds? It's perfect. The dishes are odd, but the hull shape is sound, and I'd love to see these in the fleet.

I've never complained about non-triangles. I was always annoyed that we had identical looking triangles, which is different. Gozantis, Raiders, even the new Finalizer looks pretty distinctive and different but keep the core triangle shape.

Getting mad at Angry Space Triangles is like getting mad at fighter jets for all having swept wings.

So someone posted over in another thread that this has been dropped from the movie?

Can anyone confirm?

(FWIW, Wookiepedia says it's appearance in the movie is "in a recruitment film" - we know Han joins up with the Imperial Navy for a brief stint, so I'm guessing there must be some kind of recruiting videos or holograms playing in the background or something. Maybe that's the only appearance of the ship? Or not even that?)

According to r/StarWarsLeaks the cruiser appears briefly, but its main scene was cut.

I personally hope that the scene shows up in the bluray extras.

That's hugely dissapointing.

I hope we actually see it beyond just an inuniverse recruiting ad.

1 less reason to see this film in theaters. I’m at about 86% for waiting for home release for solo. Unless I hear from someone that I respect that this needs to be seen in theaters, I’m sitting this one out.

Why not just go see it if you're able? It'll cost you 12-15 bucks at most. Thats less then a squadron pack.

It's Star Wars, its never going to look as good on a small screen plus it's an anthology film so it'll be crammed with details.

Do you, but I think it's a silly reason to not go. Life is short.

I’m just not feeling it, for many reasons. I think I’ll survive missing it on the big screen.

I'm afraid that if I go see it on the big screen Disney will continue to churn out this B grade Star Wars crap every year.

RO was good, the rest have been little more than cold diarrhea in a Dixie cup.

Star Trek rules apply me thinks. Only every other movie needs to me good.
