Help me out with my Empire build

Hi,

So I just started playing Armada (x-wing player) and have bought the Core set, Gladiator exp and the Imp light carrier exp. Can I get some recommendatios for a couple of good builds?

And what is the next expansions you recommend for me?

I was doing some on my own in the Armada fleet design app but would love to have some help.

I am going to play against a friend on tuesday and I would love to kick his ***. :)

Get Squadron pack 1 or 2. It would help out your carrier to have some worthwhile squadrons to throw.

Follow up with either the ISD or Chimera expansions for a big heavy hitter. After one of those, an Imperial Light Cruiser for upgrades and a decent ship.

I think you need one or more ships to get at the 400 mark since I am working on a list and can't really get past 350 without adding unnecessary upgrades.

I would play cautiously. Squall provides a ton of range for your squadrons. Objective play is very important.

The victory is a good gunship, while the gladiator punches stuff good. Keep your squadrons in close support of your ships.
