Is there a reason to get more than 1 each?

800 pts. seem to add up fast.

1 of each. No reason to buy 2 AT-STs at their point cost, but 2 speeders might be good.

Gotta have at least 2 to start a squadron

1 x AT-ST ordered, and will most likely buy 2 x T-47's by mid-year

Just playing rebels at first and planning to get 2 speeders. they are actually pretty decent with no upgrades so I don't think it's crazy to take 2.

First of, “airspeeders”.

for now, one. Eventually i might get a second. There’s no point getting more that 2 unless you just want to paint them or if you plan on playing huge casual games

1 of each for now. Maybe another of each down the road for casual games. I want to wait and see what else is announced before doubling down.

I settled on one of each as well. I'll wait to see how the meta shakes out, but in general it looks like more squad leaders will be more useful than 2 vehicles.

One of each however I have the Bandai models that I am going to proxy to see if I want more of the others. This will let me test play with more of each to see if there is any good tactics.

I'm definitely only getting one T47 for now. I couldn't imagine running more than one unless you're playing a much higher point game than the 800 that the game is set for right now. I'd rather do more ATRTs.

I do kind of like the idea of running Veers with 2 ATSTs though.

Im getting 1 of each. I know we can take two which would be cool but im waiting to see what other heavies get released.

2, maybe 3 of each. I'm a modeler at heat, so there will be differing paint jobs and probably conversions for all of them.

Same here, I want to paint one black to match the inevitable Death Troopers.

One FFG air speeder and one bandai airspeeder. I doubt I would ever run two in an event so one official and one awsome is good enough for me.

The main difference I can see is that on the Bandai model the canopy where the pilots sit is actually transparent plastic, but on the FFG one it's a solid piece of plastic. The Bandai model a lot more pieces as well, but other than the canopy I didn't see much difference in the pictures.

We are looking for a size comparison as well.

One issue that will arise with trying to use the Bandai models as proxies/replacements (as I predict some people are considering) is at present I do not know of a source for appropriate bases for vehicles, at least in regards to the notch on the front and back for the placement of the movement tool. I'm sure someone will whip something up once the game is released, but that is something to keep in mind/consider, especially if the price of the model+base starts approaching the price of the FFG model which comes with the appropriate base and cards.

Also, it is possible that the Bandai models are more fragile, so would be more prone to breakage during play.

While veers, 2ATST and storm troopers filled as required fits into 800 and would look amazing its too early to be rushing out and buying double ATSTs until we get a feel for missions and what wave 3+ will look like.
