The Decimator is still a good ship, but some more options for it is something I greatly desire. I want a pack that updates the VT-49, and the Interceptor. Give me Moran Kee, and Ciena Ree! Give me docking clamps that hold two interceptors on my Decimator so the Empire can launch fighters in standard play like the other factions. Give my Decimator the option to reinforce it's shields, or give it the Empires first true regeneration option. Make my interceptors somthing i don't shy away from because of their brittle nature. There is so much space in the lore for this ship as it has never been fully fleshed out, and I have loved it since it's original release. The thought of a pack like this fills me with excitement. Please FFG, do this for a loyal Imperial who has never lost faith in the struggle for law and order in the galaxy. Give us the tools we need to combat the scum (both kinds) of the outer rim. Save the dream!
Outer Rim Patrol Pack
YES.
Although, we could also do with an upgrade to the Lambda as well, make the thing more combat effective.
No-one's gonna kill me if I say adding a title to give the Lambda a turret would be a good idea, right?

Adding a turret to the Lambda is a terrible idea. It's discount price very much reflects how poor a fighter it is. Making into a capable combat platform...bad idea. Although a unique title that lets it add anti-pursuit lasers for free, I could get behind.
As to the OP's point, though - yeah, Ciena Ree missing in the game is a bit painful! And the TIE Interceptor really needs some more love, again, badly! (Also, see: TIE Fighter, which, with - what, four releases? - still remains overpriced for its value)
won't someone please think of the Phantoms?!
Sounds like you want a Gozanti.
The only problem I see with the idea of a Decimator reissue is that it is very hard to fly two in a list. Also, the ship itself isn't bad. Nothing that crew couldn't fix.
Think of it this way, with everything reissued, it lets you fly multiples of the ship. The allure of flying multiple Interceptors is there, flying two decimators is less so. The basic decimator is 40 points, and that is flying naked. Start adding in crew or a named one and you have very little points left.
Now while there are a few that may want to fly double Decimators, the majority who want to fly it already have it. A second sku that forces you to buy one or the other is also problematic.
While Ciena Ree may show up - there is the new TIE Tumor she could fly, which works since Thane isn't in his x-wing either.
Unless FFG decide to put new pilot cards for a Decimator in a other pack, I really only see any improvement coming from crew or maybe other imperial specific upgrades.
We will likely get more crew, and an upgrade that could work for the imperials is a large ship only upgrade that trades a crew slot for a cargo slot. Add in a crew that uses energy tokens and you could have something that imperials could use on their ships. - a title called Cargo Detail.

I have one and it's great. But I can't use it in standard!

But they made me buy a second Falcon, and that has a similar problem. The Decimator is the only true combat large base for Imperials, It deserves to have more options. The rebels have two 1300s, a 2400, and a VCX. Scum has Jumpmaster and Lancer, as well as the 666, Firespray for large bases with more than a front arc to fire from. Plus it would make for a fun fluffy expansion.

You gave the firespray to scum, but not imperial. Stacking the deck much?

Fair point, you can use a firespray with your Imperial fleet. However seeing as it never had the success of Ray, Fat Han, Dengar, Manaroo, Super Dash, Kanen, Party bus, or RAC it is easy to forget its origins in the game with the Empire. Yes the firespray is great fun, and it was my only imperial large base for a long time, and I ran it a lot right up until they released the VT-49. I tried it several other ways as time passed with hopes that Agent Kallus would help, I would love a repaint as the Police craft it once was to give it new life for the Empire, but it was always a scum ship and I expect it to stay that way, just as the Decimator has always been Imperial. (Now off to see if I can find a new Imp Firespray build with some of our newer cards!)

Nobody wants them to return to their power.
They're why we are where we are today.

I'd love to see a Phantom update which involves them *NOT* cloaking. I'm not sure how that gets accomplished, or what the finished product looks like, but it seems like the most interesting premise to me.
However, I think the Phantom is likely the hardest ship to come up with a good fix design. In some ways, it already does what it's supposed to do fairly well. It isn't like a Punisher or U-Wing which is just outclassed by a cheaper arrival, or an X-Wing which is just vanilla and a little weak. If that's even true. Flight Assist Astromech is pretty strong, and made a 22-point X-Wing a decent filler ship (likely 21 soon), and Wedge and Wes are pretty reasonable ships at their point cost. With a Phantom, I guess some boring stat improvements would help the ship (Krennic looks likely good...), but that just seems boring.
I want a tie Punisher/ large base (either decorator or firespray) with harpoon-quality torpedoes.

My "quick fix" would be the V38 title. It would lose the Cloak action and gain Boost.
Possible unintended consequences mean this ship steals more thunder from the Interceptor. As if the Interceptor has any thunder left to steal.

Krennic will bring Soontir back on top.

In today's meta of PS11, and since PTL is practically glued to Soontir, I don't think Krennic is enough.

Not unless he has more text on his card he won't.

The meta will change by then. Nothing is constant.

If Inky could win a System Open in the high point of Miranda/Nym then a 4 hit point Soontir that can do damage also backed by Palp, Autothrusters, and Stealth Device can.
TIE Reaper is going to be decent at ship-to-ship combat. I think it will begin to see more play than the Decimator.

Something like this?
Rear Admiral Chiraneau (46)

Emperor Palpatine (8)
Director Krennic (5)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Soontir Fel (27)
Push the Limit (3)
Autothrusters (2)
Stealth Device (3)
Royal Guard TIE (0)
Total: 99

Not sure if it has enough offense against the popular lists today, but I'd like to watch it played.

Yep, exact list I have packed in my car next time I’m playing.

It also has the advantage of not eating up half your list.
Truly, the only way I expect to see a decimator rerelease is if a movie or show features it. The Millenium Falcon has that recognition, wheras the VT-49 does not. But hey, if Thrawn flies around in one, it is assured.

How much pull do you think FFG has over the Rebels story team?
