With the new FAQ out, what crew do you guys think would help the C-ROC? Dengar seems a little pricey given that there likely won't be any named ships to shoot at.
New C-ROC combos
Targeting coordinator is a fine alternative to Dengar. It says choose "A" friendly ship at range 1-2, not "another", so the C-Roc can choose itself and get some full dice modification if need be instead of rerolling just one dice. It also does not cost an action, so an added bonus.
The other combo that I have seen floating around (but have yet to try) is Latts and automated protocol. Jam the enemy fighter, perform the reinforce action and now you have 2 garanteed evades against his attack. Potentially 3 if you have the Broken Horn. Won't help if a Corvette snipes at you, but could potentially be good in some scenarios.
Finally I have been thinking of mixing the courrier droid and Azmorigan in some fashion. Setup at PS 8, trade the courrier droid for Vizago, trade Vizago for the possibility to adapt a cargo, later trade Azmorigan for maybe Latts, etc. Can't think of a good way to use those yet, but I'm working on it.

Named TIE Swarms since there are so many of them and still pretty cheap seem to be on the table. You get to see Backstabber and Mauler Mithel which usually are never seen in standard.

Yep. So many named pilots have a huge target on their back in Epic but the named ties have some great abilities and you can bring a lot of them and still have room for some big guns. They are fast enough to get on top of the enemy Huge and two dice work just fine vs 0 agility.
