Hey all,

It's been a while since I've rolled any epic and I'm just looking for some clarification regarding Upgrade Cards and the Fore and Aft sections of for example, the Imperial Raider.

Do my Upgrade Cards affect both sections or are they limited to the section in which they are assigned during squad building? I have a few examples:

1. Ordnance Tubes - If I equip the Ordnance Tubes Modification to my Fore section can I apply its effect to a Hard Point on my Aft section?

2. Optimized Generators - This sort of plays in with number 1. If the Optimized Generators are equipped to my Fore section can I still apply their bonus given that the energy generation comes from the Aft section? Or do they have to be in the section that generates the energy?

3. Modifications in different sections - Normally a ship can only equip one Modification Upgrade Card. However the Raider has two ship cards. Can I equip a modification to both the Fore and Aft sections or am I limited to just one section's Ship Card?

4. Teams - Do my teams need to be in the sections that are relevant to their abilities, or can they affect both sections? Does my sensor team need to be in the Aft section to affect TLs? Does my Engineering Team need to be in the Aft because it generates the ship's energy? Can Gunnery and Ordnance Teams only affect the weapons in their section?

I apologize for what may seem uninformed. I just couldn't find anything definitive while going through my booklets, looking online at the Epic Play rules and FAQ or browsing through the forum. It's been a while and I very well my have just missed it.

If anyone knows any answers or where to find the relevant rules it would be much appreciated.

Duocard huge ships are still considered 1 ship unless it calls out a section in the card itself (or ability).

afaik the only upgrades that dont specify which half it affects and dont work for both is weapons (due to the multiple arcs and the rules mentioning "that section")

Only one mod can be equipped, despite there being 2 cards to "equip them to" so they are universal, otherwise....pointless

Also, while the recent FAQ reaffirmed this, it's worth pointing out that destroying a hull section does not cause the modification or title to be discarded, since they do not take up slots.
