Annihilation is getting some really great reviews. Looking like a bit deeper version of Arrival.

It's certainly an interesting film we got it on Netflix in the uk, it won't do well in the cinema though it's an art house film, well acted by all the cast really well shot but ultimately there's not a clear ending like most Hollywood movies so people will come out wondering what they just watched, think word of mouth might harm it.

It's definitely worth watching though if you like intelligent scifi.

Intelligent and doing good at the box office do not go hand in hand. I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years the only movies shown in theaters are your kind of mindless action movies or horror movies. Anything artistic or doesn't fall into a category that the masses will like, will be on a streaming service.

Yeah it's like with blade runner that's a fantastic sequel to the original obviously a Labour of love yet it bombs while transformers rakes it in, there ain't no justice I tells ya.

I went to see ready player one Thursday it was okay but not a patch on the book, saw rampage Friday was pleasantly surprised it lacked a real story but the rock was fun the special effects good besides a few scenes where rock was on screen with the monsters still miles ahead of the DC movies, not much blood but they showed plenty of death which helped sell the monsters as credible threats.

I like the actor but I’m still not sold on this, was never the biggest fan of the character.

Yeah sony don't have a great track record.
