doubt in which expansion adds more to the game

By Belvasques, in Star Wars: Armada

hi , I'm thinking of taking 2 small expansions of the game, a rebel and an imperial.

I'm in doubt what to get. I am between rebel and imperial fighter or rebel transport and imperial assault carrier.

I have the core set, mc30, gladiator and rogues and villains. What would you add to the game?

Thanks

Flotillas work better with squads. So I’d add squads before adding flotillas. But flotillas are generally a good buy also. And you can use them to push core set ties and xwings. However they also wontcome with that many useful upgrades for other ships.

After that id save up for wave 7

I'd say the Squadron I expansions - builds nicely off the core set fighters. And then if you can sneak a Corellian Conflict purchase in there, it gives you (aside from the campaign) basically twice as many objectives and doubles the squadron pilots you'd have.

After the Squadrons I for both factions (and Corellian Conflict), probably the flotillas for each, as they do the most - for the least cost - to round out the game experience.

Cool, so at first the squads would be more interesting to the game. Even because the flotillas work best with the squadrons.

I think the only correct answer is the ISD and Chimaera expansions.

;)

Fighter pack 1 for both sides is a good option, but so is one large ship ISD/Chimaera pack for Imps. Or Any of the 3 Mon Cal Cruiser pack MC80 (home one) MC80 (Winged Liberty), or the new release MC-75 (Profundity)

Squads 1 for each side, and an ISD (either expansion) and Home one.

They are the most iconic ships for their respective sides, and can be a great centerpiece to almost any fleet.

Flotillas are important more for competitive play, but if you are casual I would go with the big ships for more enjoyment

Cool. Here in Brazil we do not have a competitive scenario. The idea is to always buy an expansion for each side.

For in my city only I have the game and so I can always keep the sides more or less equivalent in power.
