The side is not set until setup so you wouldn't be able to equip AT.

So are people still discussing this even after it was revealed to be fan made?

anyway why would a dual upgrade x-wing fix give Boost to the action bar? You can get actions without having it on the bar. At any rate it would make more sense if both sides give boost to the action bar but one side prevents the action. Still don’t know if AT could be equipped tho.

It couldn't.

The side of Dual Cards is only set after the ship is placed during setup. Nothing on a Dual Card is active until after setup.

I suspect, even though it's fan made, it's broadly accurate. Boost is visible on one side of the card in the fan, as is '-1', and some speed of turn.
