TX 130 Fighter Tank

One of my favourite legends designs, Clone Wars but apparently used by both Empire and Rebellion. It would make a great rebel vehicle and counterpart to the TX-225 Imperial tank from Rogue One ...

Otherwise, the rebels are a bit stuffed for heavy armour.

The T3-B Heavy Tank

T4-B

Or T2-B

T2-B - RECG

Could also work. Or FFG could create their own Rebel analogue.

Pretty sure the tx130 is canon via clone wars cartoons. Not as prominent as other craft but it was there.

Yes please. I would love to see that as a heavy option.

The TX-130 did not make an appearance in the Cartoon as far as I can recall. All the sources I checked indicate it in other media, but not the cartoon, which is the only piece that was carried into canon.

I'm almost certain we will see some TX version or equivalent show up at some point.

Don’t forget the TIE Crawler.

When you desperately want to lose the combat but still need give the Rebels something to shoot at.

For when you want to run over Rebel troopers, and then blow yourself up!

Vehicle-wise, Canon Rebels have access to the MLC-3 Light Tank, Infantry Support Platform, T-16 Skyhopper, Rebel Troop Carrier, and Transport Speeder. They also have access to refitted Hailfire Droid Tanks, ULAVs, and the Ski Speeders from TLJ - although all of these may be a hair too big for the table (as they're between 5 and 10m in length).

Reallying hoping for NOT the MLC-3... it just looks goofy in my opinion.

The Mobile Laser Cannon - III is the very definition of a GLASS CANNON.

And yet predates TIE Interceptors, A -Wings, B - Wings, and the entire Mon Cal fleet.

Don't forget the freerunner! It is canon as well although probably way too long.

Star Wars has the worst ground vehicles when it comes to non-Walkers. If there is one place I hope FFG gets some leeway, its in creating new armored vehicles.

That's what she said!

....about the Heavy Tracker....

TX-130 is quite viable though...

Well.. we will probably see the tx225.

But should FFG be planning on expanding into the Prequel era in order to increase the number of playable factions, I think they will try not to include too many clone wars era vehicles in the Rebel forces. However, we will see how the game develops.

Amazing how a series can have both some of the best vehicle designs in history but also some of the absolute worst.

What minis are those clones?

The old Wizards of the Coast one from their skirmish game.

If you want some you may want to look around. I've seen on Facebook some people are selling off their collections to fund starting Legion. Half tempted to do so myself.

They aren't really high quality, and the plastic they are made of is really soft. So they stink if you want to plop them down next your buddy's 40k army. But they are nice for casual use as they can survive a lot of abuse, so if someone steps on it, at worst a little hot water and you can bend them back into shape.

The old WotC minis also work decently well for RPGs.

I’ve used them in Imperial Assault as well.

I have a massive collection of the WotC minis, probably around 300 including the AT-AT, and I'm taking apart the vehicle to make terrain out of. Right now I've taken apart 2 BARQs, snow speeder, 3 AT-STs, swamp speeder, 2 Golan defense turrets, and an anti-personal turret. The scale will be off, but with part of the mini hidden, you won't tell the difference.
