(Spoilers) Solo - Millenium Falcon

By That Blasted Samophlange, in X-Wing

My point was that, if the thing is a detachable element, then that CAN be the falcon, just without the thing. But if the thing is not a detachable element, then for that to not be the falcon would mean that someone heavily modified a 1300 in the exact same way that Han would do so 25 years later, which is equally ridiculous.

Although, that is a pretty blurry picture. I thought it was clearer than that in the actual film?

I'm... Just...

Just gonna say that it's likely Han got rid of it and the plating to reduce mass.

And/or make it easier to work on the ship for repairs and modifications without having to remove plating every time.

Yes! Exactly!

I loved that toy when I was a kid. So many sounds to make with it. Got a huge kick out of them putting it into rebels. Yeah, it was just some toy they came up with, there were quite a few of them back then.

BTW, no one had that many stromtroopers to out fit that transport. It always carried other things.

Plot twist

Star-Wars-x-Transformers-Millenium-Falco

Some where in the multiverse it was Michael Bay, not Ron Howard, that was hired to do the reshoots for Solo. Finally a Star Wars movie that does well in China.

Except the whole point of this subject is that the stock 1300 looks like that and the Falcon has been modified.

except that Disney never said this was a "stock" YT-1300 version. that is just what the fans started saying when it leaked, based on nothing more than the fact it looked less like a piece of junk.

far more likely what we will be seeing is lando's pimped out freighter-turned-space-yacht version of the falcon.. covered in cosmetic paneling to look sleek and fitted with an extra module of some kind.

It's a party module obviously.

I'm pretty sure there's an official SW image of how flexible the YT-1300 is, with different plates, prongs and cockpit placements.

Also traditionally Han and/or Lando hid the missile launchers in the front prongs, so that might be part of why the space was removed.

I had a squad of 4 stormies so no I miss out being able to make that box art happen. That and the fact I never had the Imperial transport.

Two of those storm troopers are lost to the ages being cruely destroyed by drills, chains hooked to lantern batteries, pencil sharpeners to the limbs. Man I was as bad as Sid Phillips! What did I do?!

At least my four snow troopers and scout troopers survived.

From the Legends book Millennium Falcon Owners Workshop Manual:

All this speculation about the Falcon and no one cares about what happens to Chewie’s second bandolier!!! WHAT HAPPENED! I must know! How does he go from having only one in ep 3 to having 2 in the Solo movie, then back to one in ANH?!??! It boggles the mind!

Do you really think Disney has got a plan... that makes sense?

You have watched The last Jedi, though, have you?

The Falcon will just be the Falcon, in a different look to sell new toys. Wait for it ;)

nah, probably just a walk in closet for all of lando's capes. :D

EDIT: this not my creation. I was going to do one myself but found this excellent one.

I guess I can talk about this now, since Lego has shown this themselves. The front part of the Falcon is also a shuttle on the Lego model (had this model in my hands at work last week ;)) So I am pretty sure this will be a dramatic part of the movie where the Falcon jettion its shuttle and we se a Falcon close to what we know, rader dish up and all.

Maybe we will get a scene similar to this in the film, 3:32. :P

I really hope it's not.

I was at the Toy Convention. LEGO’s security makes Snoke’s laughable.

Those are legit photos. The media was not supposed to leak photos though. We were definitely not allowed to use our phone cameras.

Escape pod I can deal with.

Mini ship, I cannot.

Ohhhhh boy.

It can't just be a mod that Han pulled... It haaaaaad to be a marketable feature...
