Hmmmmm..... better off if she's not the highest PS I think, you want someone else to get the shields off before Saw starts landing the crits.

Well, Poe is 11.

If only Rey could be PS11.

Oh wait...

What if Han only rolled Crits.

It is time:

Han Solo — YT-1300 46
Veteran Instincts 1
Cruise Missiles 3
Saw Gerrera 1
Finn 5
Engine Upgrade 4
Millennium Falcon (TFA) 1
Ship Total: 61
Wedge Antilles — X-Wing 29
Veteran Instincts 1
Proton Torpedoes 4
Flight-Assist Astromech 1
Engine Upgrade 4
Ship Total: 39

Hard to see how this would be better than Ezra/Maul on a Ghost but thats definitely not something I am qualified to have an opinion on.

The difference is he’s 1. Single. Point.

There is is no doubt Ezra maul is disgusting on the Ghost, but you are getting massive value with Saw.

Put Saw on a HWK with no turret.

"Saw Gerrera used to say one fighter with a sharp stick and nothing left to lose can take the day"

OP.

Or you can do
Dash (36)
Lone Wolf (2), Saw Gerrera (1), Heavy Laser Cannon (7), Outrider (5), Countermeasures (3)

Lone Wolf would be my alternative if the wingman allows it. Reroll those blanks into focus. And reroll those blank agility dice too while at it.

Here‘s a new one: Lightning reflexes! Keep arc without slooping...

Other than that... Predator? Or all the way to opportunist and expose?!

Nera Dantels w/ APTs

360 nasty nukes R1 (yes its a bwing so what) lol

Also separate question...how is this better than guidance chips?

It's nonsense, but now I want to see that HWK save the day. :D

For most munitions it's arguably not, but for APT jank it's beautiful.

Why not both?

I think rereolls are the way to go.

That same HWK can take Pulsed Ray Shield for repeat stick jabs.

Nera Dantels — B-Wing 26
Deadeye 1
Fire-Control System 2
Advanced Proton Torpedoes 6
Extra Munitions 2
Saw Gerrera 1
B-Wing/E2 1
Ship Total: 39
Jan Ors — HWK-290 25
Squad Leader 2
Twin Laser Turret 6
Courier Droid 0
Ship Total: 33
Lowhhrick — Auzituck Gunship 28
A Score to Settle 0
"Chopper" 0
Courier Droid 0
Ship Total: 28

I think that's my favorite jank setup so far. Nera is begging to be blown out of the sky so I sent Lowhhrick to help her out (since Biggs is no longer all that viable, though maybe one round would be enough). I'd also consider giving Lowhhrick Selflessness.

B-Wings over 30 points....

It's why I labeled it Jank.

Gotta be careful on point sinks, ESPECIALLY large bases

1 damage is a huge deal, oftentimes the difference between fully functional and removed from the table, even moreso when considering half point mov

If SAW didn't cost just one point or didn't flip up crits, I'd say he'd be pretty difficult to justify. Damaging yourself is a STEEP price to pay (without Regen) so you have to be careful when using Saw

No matter useful, getting to tell my opponent “time to face THE BOOGALET!” When I proc his ability will be priceless.

Funny, but last time I flew my hwk I landed a primary weapon Crit. it was into a Falcon and it wasn’t direct so...

Not even a little bit

Throwing dice at Miranda is easy (contrast Poe or corran), it's doing significant sustained damage through Regen and flighty TLT that's the problem

Only solution to miri is an overdue TLT adjust

Or make Miranda’s ability Primay Weapon only.

Inspiring Recruit is standing in for Saw. Use Stims and CM for the initial joust (and it's also the point where you're most likely just chewing on shields, so Saw's ability has the least value). Then have Rey burn down threats to Poe as fast as possible sacrificing health when needed (incidentally, this Rey would absolutely brutalize a Ghost/Fenn build as taking that many crits will be really bad for a 10 hull ship) to get you to your endgame of Poe v. one other poor bastard. Since Rey doesn't need her action for dice mod, just Evade every turn. Plan to playtest it.

Rey (57)
YT-1300 (45), Adaptability (0), Finn (5), Inspiring Recruit (1), Millennium Falcon (Evade Version) (1), Smuggling Compartment (0), Glitterstim (2), Counter-Measures (3)

Poe Dameron (PS9 Version) (43)
T-70 X-Wing (33), Black One (1), R2-D2 (4), Advanced Optics (2), Veteran Instincts (1), Autothrusters (2)

But if Saul kills himself during the attack and that creates a rules nightmare argument that ends with the player forfeiting his attack,

"LIES!

DECEPTION!!!"
