I was just thinking that a nice affordable expansion which would require relatively little work in the r&d department would be a nice collection of different color banners for existing units. Elite red clan chiefs, veteran blue slingers and conscript green pikemen all seem like perfectly reasonable units to me etc.

I'm thinking for a lot more banners to accommodate warrior's Training Camp.

I don't mind this idea - the only issue would be making sure the mini and the banner roughly match up. I think it would also be prudent to wait until FFG decide what to do with the base game. I think banners released this way should only be released for the minis in the base game (and as such an extra creature banner would be good - for the spider!).
