Lower side of the bases

By Tokra, in Star Wars: Legion

Could anyone give me a picture from the lower side of the bases? Are they solid or are they open like the X-Wing ship or Armada squadron bases?

How are they when on a plain underground? Do they stick really well or are they moving really easy when you touch them?

These were some of the Problems i had with X-Wing and Armada. The models are not sticking well enough on the underground, unless you use some rubber stopper.

For x wing I put a washer in each base and filled with silicon putty. Gave the bases a nice weight and was quite grippy on most surfaces. I'm planning on inserting small magnets for storage into each base, and probably will fill with silicone gel again too.

To be honest I didn't have too much trouble with the heavier Armada bases moving.

Looking at @Sorastro's tutorial for the AT-RT, the undersides of the bases are beveled. Only the lip of the base hits the ground, at least for the larger minis. Not sure I recall whether or not the smaller ones are completely flush, but maybe he could tell us. :)

Luckily the placement is not as precise as Armada since there is the free movement for squads.

Thank you very kindly. :)

Thanks, that's good to hear. This means i can use my squadron anti slide forms as well for legion :).
