Autothrusters was designed to shut down fat han and turrets. Pulsed ray shield buffs the hawk, kihraxz, scyk, etc... all underperforming in the recent meta. light weight frame buffed punishers and bombers more than the striker it came with. itelligent release of cards as fixes is part of the games evolution.

in the past the game developers have described these off-wave ace packs as fix/buffs to bring underperforming ships back into play, so until stated otherwise I will assume that is their intent.

Yep, and none of these cards were there to help the ship in the same box, but other ships in other boxes.

firstly, wrong. pulsed ray shield came with the main ship it buffs. second, changing the goal post is lame. im saying fix cards should fix ships... i dont understand what your point is

It helps ships that exist to do something besides just shoot stay alive longer on turns when they wouldn't have a shot anyways. Like, say a ship that is arc locked but can't easily turn around. Like a U wing or a Lambda. I dunno about you, but I would say that both of those ships are underpowered, and kinda neglected.

Someone says that this is box is a fail because the cards inside works better with the Reaper than their ships. I just disagree with that method of value.

I think there's a difference between "fix cards" and "more stuff you can use with this ship" cards. Like, New titles, ship specific upgrades are "fixes". Targeting Scrambler can help the U-Wing, but it might also be good on other ships. Keep in mind it is a zero point upgrade, the second for system, so it has to be very niche.

Key example. Harpoon Missiles only come in Guns For Hire (at the moment. Given their popularity, they'll probably be reissued at some point). In that pack, they can only be equipped to the Kihraxz. Now, they combo well with the specific Fix upgrade for the Kihraxz, the Vaksai title, but as seen by their popularity, they are perfectly good on many other ships. Vectored Thrusters is also real good on the Vaksai K-fighters, but this doesn't mean it isn't useful on other ships as well which came out before, just it can also go on the Kihraxz pretty good and also meshes with Vaksai, so it's in the pack.

I think it's strictly better than an empty upgrade slot for 0 points.
