Scum skipped for wave 13 and 14 = big scum wave incoming?

By DakkaDakka12, in X-Wing

If they made the Gauntlet heavy fighter like the Ghost with the tripod stem it could work and besides they have shrunk ships many times, in fact the scurrg should be bigger, **** it should be a large base.(i'm glad it isn't)

I want this so much. We had a Scum-rebel tie in, dare we hope we get an Imp-Scum? Something like this:

Imperial contract

Title, Unique, Imperial only

You may equip this title to a Scum faction ship. You may only equip this title if the total cost of the ship is X or fewer (40?)

You may equip an additional title.

Other than the cool cross-over, Lore and extra point-cost, what does this card DO?

EDIT: ah I see, you get to use a scum ship in your Imperial Fleet... I thought it was an imperial title for in the Scum fleet...

Scum got nothing for wave 13 but as stated wave 12 and 13 shipped together my point is that scum has the least ships AND they got less in the last release than either Rebels or Imperial.

the Kimogila was a wave 12 release.

Scum is rotating out, where will be no more Expansions for Scum.

Eh...wave 12+13 were a simultaneous release (literally the same day), so I'm not sure it's fair to count them distinctly. It was likely only split up in announcement at all due to movie spoilers being something FFG can't release.

I wouldn't be surprised if wave 14 was the same way. Although it's entirely possible we get multiple ships from the new 'Solo' movie - and they'll certainly not be Rebel, given the movie being set years before the Rebellion is formed. I think everyone is assuming the new model for the Millennium Falcon is a given, but the movie seems to involve a lot of new people that would fall into the 'Scum' faction, so...heck, maybe 2 Scum ships wouldn't be unexpected.

(Not least of which because we've already seen a new Imperial fighter in the movie, so...)

Pretty sure the rebellion is already formed during the Solo movie, I believe the Qira character is supposed to be a rebel. It could even be this is Hans first brush with the rebellion and that the Falcon could be considered a rebel ship during the movie. Qira probably dies or flees in the Falcon front shuttle and Han won't have anything to do with the rebellion, at least for a while.

Nope.

The Declaration of the Rebel Alliance was proclaimed by Mon Mothma aboard the Ghost during the events of the 'Rebels' TV series - set nearly a decade after the Han Solo movie is. Now, that said, it's not that there weren't people opposed to the Empire during this period - obvious Mon Mothma and Bail Organa were Senators in the Empire that were working to resist policies they had issues with - but no organized 'Rebellion', yet.

How do we know when the Solo movie take place?

Interview with Kasdan, one of the writers on the film, basically.

"It will not be here’s where he was born and this is how he was raised. I think what it will be is, what he was like 10 years earlier, maybe a little earlier, you’ll get a glimpse."

...that's the closest to a fixed time period we've seen so far, although basically everything else that has come out aligns with that. Obviously, the 'Rebels' TV series events discussed above are recent for the series, so about 1-2 years before Yavin. IE., 'Solo' being set 8-9 years before the formal Rebellion begins.
