As of today, the "Upcoming" section of the FFG website is now showing Ascension as no longer On the Boat and is now Shipping to a store near you. Should arrive in 7-10 days.

Really? I've gotten books the same week as the local stores before, but I guess we'll wait and see. Admittedly, I'm not using gaming books as my reference.

Has there been a photo released of someone holding the book in the warehouse? It seems that's more accurate than the upcoming releases page.

Which isn' saying that I won't be stopping by my local store this and next thursday just to double check mind you...

These are great news, unfortunately, my DH smuggler (Book Depository) has it still listed as coming on 28 Apr 2010, I hope they´ll upgrade it ASAP.

Woop, I just hope it doesn't take ages to ship to us in the UK, but the time it was in the printers I hope they've made a LOT of copies.

Pre-ordered from the warstore yesterday. Got both the radicals handbook and rogue trader within days of release from them, so I'm giving them a chance to make it three in a row.

I gave up trying to order stuff from Amazon after it took a couple of months for RT to arrive (this was after the release date).

There's nothing quite like pre-ordering something and then getting it two months after it's been sitting on store shelves.

Good news! To bad Blood Angels release that month too. Oh wait im not buyin this book for another year...thats how long it will take to get there with our current progress. lol.

One thing I have learnt, is to hold your horses and not your breath once a shipping date for a Dark Heresy product is confirmed ... it often takes WEEKS before it's actually there, and even longer before it has made its way overseas and in my greedy little paws here in the Netherlands.
