How is "distance 7 or less" to be interpreted?

Is it total distance traveled so that you won´t be able to sow distrust at the final run of the battlestar?

Or is it that you need to have traveled at LEAST 7 distance (the argument being that you have LESS distance before you arrive at the destination?

It checks the current distance Galactica has travelled. If it is seven or less (meaning they're not in front of their final jump), you can give your loyalty cards (and all unrevealed of them!) to a single other player.
