Its worth noting this isnt the ships involved with Scariff, so why would K2SO be a part of it?

Well there you have it. They prioritized the worst character of Rogue One instead of the best and the one who spends the most time flying the U-wing.

I guess K2-SO will continue to hang out in purgatory along with Obi-wan and Yoda.

But at least we got the crowd favorite Bistan. That's important.

Looking at the spread, we see both Saw's and other confirmed U-Wing pilot cardboard meaning there is 1 other pilot on the flip of each for 2 unknown pilots. On the pilot card spread 2 extra X-Wing pilots are shown, my guess placeholders form K2SO and maybe one of the Two Tubes.

In the upgrade cards top row next to the "Scrambled" card is an extra S-Foils upgrade separate from the others. My guess is this is where the K2SO crew card will be. Just my own speculation. ☺️

K2SO and rebellions are built on hope...well ok, technically K2SO was built on Imperial machinery, but that's beside the point!!
