New preview: save the dream

it's actually kinda broken, imo

stick it on a ship that can't shoot anyway. It's NOT arc-locked, and it triggers after you've seen everyone's final positions on the table. Range 1 thankfully makes it not so dumb, but still the benefit is incredible for 0 points

I doubt B-wings will ever come back, but IF THEY DO this would be why (note, condition triggers against any Targeting Scrambler ship, not just the one that did the scrambling)

Yay for partasins stuff, and for X-wing fix. Boo for no K2 crew of pilot, poor droid will probably stay that way. Sort of meh for Tie Reaper, it is a nice way to get Krennic and Death Troopers but I guess we get the Sentinel-Class Shuttle one day, one day... Probably sometime after Rebels ends. Actually a little surprised they skipped the A-wing Mk2 Resistance Bogalo but with no scum ship yet I'm guessing we will see the Scum getting the YT-1300.

A Scum Falcon? Prob why they made the ship look different in 'Solo' to the original so this could happen.

Still think they missed a chance to add K2SO and door gunners to the U-Wing. It’s a pretty awful ship as it is, and needs whatever help they can give it.

I’m convinced K2S0 will either-

a) show up in the “adjusted” picture of the contents (remember when Sabine wasn’t a shadowcaster pilot?)

or

b) a worlds/system open winner grabbed him to design and it wasn’t settled enough to make it in this expansion.

I started making a list of characters we have in the game that are less deserving than K2-SO but it started making me mad and I realized it would take way too long. At least we got Bistan. I hear he's dirty...

And now that was enough to draw me back to these boards instead of just the Legion section lol.

I am curious about the reaper, but super excited about the Saw’s partisan pack with t65 fixes and a take 2 for the poor Uwing...

Dear FFG,

It is my birthday today. Please spoil the X-wing fix so I can include this in the Community Mod.

Best Regards,

WHY DOES THE REAPER HAVE JAM!?!?

Youve gotta be kidding me. FFG, that better be a "tweaked Jam" to assign Jam tokens and not the Epic form of Jam, seriously if thats the stress assignment form of Jam it will be broken as balls.

Reaper isnt even a bad ship by any means. Kinda glued to LWF due to bad agi, but 8hp, 2 crew, 3die attack? sure!

This ship bears the unusual jam action that lets you jam nearby ships and prevent them from using a focus, evade, or target lock

Its the kind of Jam that just removes a single token, so kinda crappy. However, if you look at Major Vermeil's pilot ability, you can change one blank or focus to a hit result if your target does not have a focus or evade token, meaning you potentially can use your action to Jam someone, and still put some offense out even if you are giving up your potential Focus action.

If they gave the Major a better PS (6, max 8 with VI) he could have been good for stripping locks, but like Coordinate, Empire just gets low PS versions that can't be abused.

I'm just excited it looks like they put 4 of one upgrade and 3 of the other for the T-65.

Thanks for the new iPhone wallpaper. ??

We don't know what the new version of Jam action does. Remember that in Epic the Jam action is "Choose a ship at range 1-2 and asign stress tokens to it until it has 2 stress tokens."
If this version of the Jam action is the same only replacing the word "Stress" with "Jam", it would be brutal.

Its in the article, I quoted it from that.

The waves do tend to feature an even balance of ships across factions, so...yeah, wave 14 with two Rebel and one Imperial is definitely missing a Scum ship. A Scum Falcon with Tobias Beckett, Lando Calrissian, Qi'Ra, and scum Han Solo as pilots would work to fill that gap...

Given SWX67 and SWX68 were from 'Last Jedi', it's possible that Disney had filled FFG in early enough that SWX71 is the 'Solo' movie version of the ship...?

I am curious for the other new crew for Imperials, It looks like ISB Agent maybe and Tactical Officer, I also want to know what the Multi..... Camo... card is

Death Troopers is an interesting card, thinking about it. It's like a flipped Rebel Captive. That sounds like it ought to have some utility.

Jam tokens stick around so PS doesn't really matter. You jam a high PS ship and it stays jammed until it would gain a TL, focus, or evade. It's probably going to be quite good as an action.

Put Deathtroopers on RAC and Rebel Captive on Whisper lol

Ooh, that's a good way to describe it. It's a card that says "Shoot me" instead of "Don't shoot me".

Or if flying something that isn’t whisper, put both on RAC, STRESS NO MATTER WHO YOU SHOOT

Or Krennic and Hux together..... Just Hux the ship Krennic makes a prototype.....possible 2 guaranteed hits

any idea what these are?

Coordinate at a low PS isnt bad....its just not as obvious as high ps coordinate.

The reason the bug's coordinate is so powerful vs the imp's ups coordinate is price. Its HALF THE BLOODY COST of the upsilon, thats why it works. Upsilon costs so much is MUST pull its own weight, so it almost never gets to coordinate as a result. Nevermind the bug is an effective annoyance outside of coordinate by default, while the UPS is basically just a big wall unless its *gasp* not coordinating and doing something else?

I believe the wording of the Jam tokens effect would cause you to loose both jam tokens at the same time, for only loosing one usefull token. So that would not help.

Corellian Slip or Corellian Send-Off probably. Guessing some kind of EPT.

That's a lot of points for 2 hits.

The Upsilon needs a card that allows it a free coordinate after an action and no EI isn't an answer at 3 points plus the stress. It might save that ship.

Ah yeah, that is true, they do stick around. I forgot.
