You assign it to enemies and it only works against the ship with the scrambler upgrade.

Ah dang it. The card should have definitly been worded "(...) choose an enemy ship (...)"

For a moment, I thought that the upgrade was designed to target a friendly ship and make it harder to hit against all enemies. Now that would have been better. Oh well.

X-wing s-foils in the box are closed. do they move?

Great spot. I had just stopped buying X-wing after getting into Runewars and back into Descent. Now you’re saying I have to start playing again because the S-foils move? ?

not being allowed to mod harpoons sounds great.

You can't launch harpoons at range 1 either way.

No K2SO. We riot. (I kid, sorta).

Where the F is K2SO?!!

I'm color blind, I guess?

My monitor also suggests that these ships are black and white. I'm guessing it is a very dark red.

/facepalm

The ship with the scambled condition can not mod attacks against targets within range 1 of the ship with the Targeting Scrambler equipped..

The scrambled ship that is attacking does not have to be at range 1.

Scratch that

Wander what happened to K-S2O, It will arrive with the "Hammerhead" instead (lije C3-PO with the CR-90)? Hoping so! Alas super excited for the bump for the T-65's!!!

I'm pretty sure that's not what the card says.

This is wrong. "When attacking a ship at Range 1 that has the Targeting Scrambler equipped." It only works against the ship that assigned the condition.

In this case, you’ll find two new ship miniatures—a U-wing and a T-65 X-wing, both pre-painted in the stunning red-and-white paint scheme of Saw Gerrera’s freedom fighters.

This is not quite right. Targeting Scrambler is not unique, so you can have multiple Scramblers, but you can only scramble one ship at a time.

anyone?

My only issue is that they gave into the “s-foils” title Mumbo jumbo...

I can’t be the only one who thinks that was always a lame idea.

But other than that, all the YES in the world over this.

Saw crew is IN. SANE.

And it goes away at the end of Combat Phase. (AFAICT, it's just the end of the Combat Phase in the same turn as you assigned it. It doesn't persist at all.)

I know it's a 0-point card, but ... I just don't get it.

Ok, let me try again now that I've read the card correctly. Palp shuttle during a mid game is being pursued by Poe who has a focus and target lock. Instead of trying to evade him, he assigns the condition to Poe and does a hard stop. Poe gets a 4 dice unmodified shot at range 1 which he cannot modify, so it averages 2 hits. Palpatine can use his own ability to make sure he gets 1 evade. So statistically, as long as those conditions are met, the shuttle gets only 1 hit per round.

It won't turn out that way of course, but for a zero point upgrade, it could make the shuttle harder to destroy.

It looks like it's actually a modification instead of a title.

Now I've got even more on the wiki to update.

S-foils are a mod, not a title.

Actually, it looks to be a modification. "Servomotor S-Foils", so it's some kind of actual adjustment to the design.

Yup. Dual cards suck. I hate when you have to seek information about your opponent's ship across the table when it could be made with a token, visible where the action takes place.

Except it is unique.

Yep, I misread, my apologies. I was thinking "When attacking a ship at Range 1 of a ship that has the Targeting Scrambler equipped"; not sure how my brain got that.

Edit: Death Troopers. They come into effect when a friendly at Range 1 of the ship equipped with Death Troopers is attacked; my brain crosswired the cards.

oh dear freakin' god...

What rebel ship would be good for that though? ARCs are all that come to my mind and not a fan of putting a 6pt torp on those pricy things lol
