Had a lot of success and fun with a Quickdraw/Maarek TIE D/ Sabacc list of late, but I am one of those special gamers that gets a gnawing sense of unease mixing ships from different eras.

How would you replace Quickdraw is this list to achieve thematic beauty?

Well there are plenty of options really. Assuming you are just looking for one ship as a replacement, then Vader, Vessery, Major Vynder and Ryad would all be good options. Also The Inquisitor for slightly fewer points. Here are some build suggestions:

Darth Vader - Predator, TIE/x1, Advanced Targeting Computer, Engine Upgrade (37pts, or swap Predator for Veteran Instincts for 35pts)

Colonel Vessery - Adaptability, TIE/D, Tractor Beam, Twin Ion Engine Mk.II (37pts)

The Inquisitor - Push the Limit, TIE/v1, Autothrusters, Cruise Missiles (34pts)

All good options. I quite like the idea of going double TIE D with your Vessery build, but I’m rarely target locking with Maarek and Sabacc can’t. Inquisitor looks good too but I’d go harpoons (my Maarek has a score to settle so quite easily generates crits for his ability, which would work even better if the target is harpooned).
