Warriors rejoice

By SithArissa, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Well let me bring this thread back to the front page My book is on the Boat.

Good thing too as "I could wait no longer."

So, anyone placing bets on species?

Personally hoping for Miraluka myself.

Cathar

I would love to see Togorians as a playable species. According to Wookieepedia, one even exists in current canon.

H'sishi, imported from Zhan's Hand of Thrawn books into his Thrawn novel.

I personaly want Sith, but I know that won't happen.

I think Ongree will be one of the species covered. Every other species represented on the Jedi Council is accounted for (minus Yoda). Only other Jedi in Clone Wars (like Tera Sinube) were Rig Nema’s species and human variants such as Kiffar and Chalactan.

You know I also want more reptilian species that look like big lizards or Dinos. Like the Ssi-Ruu or the Chistori. But they are both legends so I don't know if we will ever see them.

I would like to see the Kaleesh species. I'm also hoping for a Juggernaut spec.

I think that would have to be an era book addition, since sith purebloods went extinct long before movie era.

Hopefully they do add them eventually with an era book that would be great.

However the two Reptilian races I mentioned are proud warrior people befitting a warrior sourcebook. The Noghri would also be a great option since the are canon once more thanks to Rebels.

Nice, I didn't realise the Noghri were canon again. Guess I should get around to watching Rebels.

I'm sure this has been suggested a thousand times before but an old republic era book would be great. A natural place to put in species stats for Sith Purebloods, Rakata, Massassi and so on.

It better have Saber Chucks...

I was -fairly- confident that we'd get Juyo...to add more options for Darkside. But it being specifically called Vapaad intrigues me.

Disney canon aside...using pre-Disney canon, didn't Palpatine erase a further 12 systems from the Jedi Archives (when Obi -Wan was looking for a system in Ep2)?

I can't remember where I read it, but I'm definitively not making it up... maybe IT WAS Disney canon with R2 having the galactic map for TFA and he downloaded it in Ep4 when he sliced into the Death Star systems and only R2 knew for years .... only letting Luke know with the New Jedi Order???? Dunno!!!

Anyway what I'm saying is maybe Palps has a hidden system(s) somewhere with all manner of creepy crawlies waiting ti be unleashed or rediscovered....

EDIT: Looking at the galactic map in Edge, there's a few empty squares ;)

EDIT #2: Apparently Dooku erased a total of 38 systems, after the death of Sifu Dyas, from the archives including Dagobah!!! More than enough for some weird Sith alchemy creatures to be knocking about... probably not canon, even before the Disney purge.... still, you can use it as an excuse for extra stuff.

Anyone up for a zoological expedition? It'll be fun they said!

Maybe. But I'd think we'd be more likely to see Masassi, Tund, etc... variants of sith, than actual purebloods in your scenario.

This is the book I have been waiting for.

Me 3. Crossing fingers for the Miraluka... ?

i want nunlightchuck sabers in my next campaign,,,, and there will be coz IT'S MY CAMPAIGN *said in a whiny 8 yr old voice*

I hope we get another force pilot spec

I hope we avoid that to be honest, one is enough for a spec, currently the Warrior has no identity as a class the three tree's barely work well together. One pilots one is scary the other deals with crowds. The two melee based trees can work together but piloting is just there. I wished they would just give us piloting trees as Universal trees, as anyone can be a pilot if they want to be not just warriors.

It also makes more sense if its universal, because so many jedi in the movies learned to fly really well without being warriors. IE Obi-wan, Luke.

Dawn of Rebellion already had a Universal pilot spec.
