Warriors rejoice

Don't know if anyone's asked this yet, but did they add the Eta-2 starfighter?

Vehicles are listed above, so I can say that sadly they did not.

Dang, what are they waiting for, the Eta-2 is iconic! Maybe they're saving it for another non-career sourcebook, like Nexus of Power.

I'd bet that it, like the ARC-170 somebody previously requested, are being saved for a Clone Wars Sourcebook.

You know what, in that case I won't complain. A sourcebook about the Clone Wars would probably add Separatist species that everyone wants, like Geonosians, Umbarans, and Zygerrians.

Oh, @Khazadune , while my request for mapped out trees still stands (pleeez!), another simpler request is this: could you confirm the Force rating prerequisite for Endure, as well as how much XP is needed to fill out the entire tree?

Thanks so much!

I hope they do more splash books like that. Still so many other avenues and things to put into the game.

Sweet! Do you have the book too?

If so, would you be willing to take a crack at mapping the trees?

I haven’t done it before. Can you link me the template from the forum?

Awesome! What do the upgrades do?

Far Strike: Brawl attack as ranged, adding Force points up to Force Rating. Increase range by each point spent.

So, basically this:

I'd do it like this (this works best for the Spec trees and the signature abilities, but it can be done with the Force power with some creativity).

Talent 1 [<^V>] Talent 2 [<^V>] Talent 3 [<^V>] Talent 4 [<^V>]
Talent 1 [<^V>] Talent 2 [<^V>] Talent 3 [<^V>] Talent 4 [<^V>]
Talent 1 [<^V>] Talent 2 [<^V>] Talent 3 [<^V>] Talent 4 [<^V>]
Talent 1 [<^V>] Talent 2 [<^V>] Talent 3 [<^V>] Talent 4 [<^V>]
Talent 1 [<^V>] Talent 2 [<^V>] Talent 3 [<^V>] Talent 4 [<^V>]

Obviously replace the "Talent X" bits with the talent names, and then if there is no link in that direction from that talent, remove the arrow from the box that follows.

Really...REEALLLY wanna see the juyo tree. Thank GOD its not called vaapad. My 'legends' heart bled.

STR: Increase severity of applicable crit to afffect by 1 per upgrade

CON: commit 1 Force die to temporarily ignore an additional crit per upgrade

DUR: incidental activation to ignore 1 current crit (if you can, based on STR upgrades)

MAG: affect allies at short range as long as they are in short range

RNG: increase MAG range to medium

MASTERY: when activating power, roll Force and Discipline vs Crit severity. If successful, spend pips = severity and the Crit is not suffered at all.

Of all the powers I expected Warrior to get, one that essentially amounts to a heal spell was not one of them.

It's more tanky than heal

Feels like an imbalanced MMO class now.
Like on SWTOR when warriors got enraged defence.
Also feels more guardian to me than anything else.

So do you have to activate it as an Action, and then Commit Force dice to maintaining it?

My best guess from what's been posted is that the base power is something to the effect of:

"Commit 1 Force die to ignore the effect of a Critical Injury you ate currently suffering from with a severity of no more than Easy for as long as the Force die is committed."

As per usual, activating the power would be an action, and because it's a commit effect, it would last until you uncommitted the die.

What I don't know is if you only ignore the effect of the injury, or if you treat it as not being there at all (meaning it no longer adds +10 to further crit rolls against you). My guess is the former, but maybe someone with the book can clarify :) .

Basic Power: OOT Incidental when hit with a Crit. Commit 1 Force to TEMPORARILY ignore effect of Crit (does not at +10 to future crit rolls, does not apply the crit effect).

Crits are "ignored" while force is committed. Once commitment ends, suffer the full effect of the crit. For the Control upgrade, you simply increase the amount of crits you save for later, like AFTER combat.

Mastery lets you stop the Crit from ever registering in the first place IF you get the roll. So, if you make your discipline check on EACH crit rolled against you using mastery upgrade you never suffer crits.
