We at least now know there's going to be a Vaapad spec, so that's something.

Pretty scant details, but it is nice to at least know there's another book in the pipeline.

Where are you getting a dual-wield and more than one conflict talent from? Yes, the article mentions that combat and conflict go hand in hand, but that's nothing new; the core book mentions that.

And I didn't see any mention of dual-wielding in the text. Are you referring to the image near the end? The one in the rain?

Well 2 images of 2 characters dual wielding lightsabers, one on the cover, makes me hypothosize.

And they mention vaapad which seems it would have a conflict talent plus they seem to mention / stress conflict a lot in the article.

What species is that non-Human in the lightsaber battle picture? Probably a clue as to what one of the three species will be, but I don't recognize it.

I would be more excited but... I'm still waiting for the other 3-4 Star Wars books to come out. Everything's been halted thanks to L5R, SW Legion and Legacies. So... I'm looking forward to this in December 2019?

Vapaad I am surprised it was included. Being its inventor is dead.

But he left a holocron laying around on every world so it is pretty widespread... jk. But it' interesting that we will finally have a true 2 trees for lightsaber.

I'm excited. Hopefully Vaapad will be a better spec than Shien for my character.

Now, normally, I'd always prefer a non-canon, custom character on the front of the career books, but I love it when us togrutas get more representation, and Ahsoka is just the best!

EDIT: Seven likes (and counting)... I guess that I was not the only stupidly happy person about togrutan inclusiveness...

Or you all are big Ahsoka fans !

She's trained by a Warrior though, But Anakin got to be on the cover of the CRB along with Obi.

Yes, Ahsoka's style is classically Shien. They even have her specialized reverse-grip attachments in Endless Vigil ! Although Shlam is correct that she was trained by the Warriorest Warrior who ever Warriored. So...

I think it has legs (?), so unless they're doing a complete overhaul, it's unlikely that it is indeed a Sluissi.

If I had to classify Ahsoka as one of the careers in F&D, I'd go with Warrior. Partly because that's how I see Anakin (he started as a Warrior: Starfighter Ace, duh! And Ben Kenobi's comment to Luke, that he was a "cunning warrior"), and partly just because of her personality. She just doesn't scream Sentinel to me. She's rough-and-tumble, aggressive, impetuous.

Just because she uses a "reverse shien" style in fighting, doesn't mean she needs to have the Shien Specialist talent tree, IMO. I'd peg her as a Warrior: Aggressor (right side) / Ataru Striker. Later in life she would have fleshed out more of the Aggressor tree.
