Does anyone know for example how tall some of the miniatures are for Legion? To stop myself from going crazy from waiting, I'm trying to build all my terrain and storage solutions before the game comes out. I want to build a magnetic carrying case like here:

However, before I buy some boxes, I wanted to make sure the ones I get are tall enough for troops, bikes, walker, etc. Also, are the bases hollow? If someone knows how deep they are I could figure out what magnet size to get.

Troopers are about 2" but models with their guns pointing up slightly exceed that. 4" is tall enough for the AT-RTs. The AT-ST is 6" so I'm storing him lying down in a 6x4x4 area. The bases are hollow, you can fit a 2mm tall magnet.

For the record, ATST's head comes off easily. It doesnt need glue or anything. You can store the head under the legs to make him shorter (assuming you didnt model his legs in a taking-a-dump-squat)

I have a battlefoam pack plus and a 216 with pick foam I use for Xwing. I had my rebel epics and most of my large base ships in the plus section. I took and restored all my large bases in my old tool box and found that my imperial troops fit into that one tray. HOWEVER, the AT-ST does not fit, even laid down in any which way, when assembled.

I didn't glue the legs at all, but I'm going to magnatise the base and hope that the leg joints stay stiff until I can find a better solution.

In theory, once I get another pluck foam tray, I should be able to roll up with my Legion and X-Wing stuff ready to go in one pack.
