Edited by BayulNew Imperial Large Based Ship--We need one

I'd love Mara as a Z-95 Pilot in a potential Action VI Scum Epic. Alongside Karrde Crew.
Ive been complaining about this for a while.
If I were to design another Imperial Large Base ship, I'd do something with 3 Attack, 3 AGI and middling hull, barrel roll, and a turret (or a more fashion-forward mobile arc). Whatever that works out to make a "good build" at around 48-53 pts.
Id put minimal upgrade slots on it. Sort of like a Large Base Imperial Ace.
Id debate a while on whether a native Boost action is too much for it, which allows Autothrusters access. Id reduce hull a bit to make it happen.
So maybe like...
Stats: 3 Attack, 3 Agility, 4 Hull, 2 Shield
Actions: Focus, Evade, Boost, Barrel Roll
Upgrades: EPTs for named and higher PS generic, 1 Crew, 1 Missile, 1 Tech maybe...
Comes in around 40 pts for highest PS pilot.
Dial with green banks on 2 speeds, 1-3 fwd green. 5 fwd white. 1-3 turns but 1s are red. Some KTurn or Sloop, red.

I'd be good with that. As long as we get some sort of Mara Jade pilot card and Karrde gets in the game, I'll be pretty happy. Well, I also hope they'll be good.
But it's not large base. . .
im glad it isnt a large base.
It seems to have a Striker effect on it. That would get annoying to fly on a large base lol. Not to mention imps have been needing a non-large crew carrier that isnt complete freakin dead weight (looking at you tie bomber) in the process. Everyone else has atleast 1 decent crew carrier, or better yet sprinkled random crew slots, imps aint got jack until now (dont mention phantom, that crew slot must be used for the phantom's use only)

Oh, I'm not complaining. It just means we still need this little sweetie:
Close FFG. Not a large base, but that's okay. To be honest, I just wanted a crew carrier with some punch and a good dial. This will do.
**claps dust off hands**
My work is done here boys...

You know, you had incredibly good timing!
65 days of silence. Then you start a thread and BOOM - article released. Well played!
Stat-wise this is pretty much exactly what I was expecting - I'd pegged either 3/1/6/2 or 2/2/6/2.
Hopefully the generic is either 18 or 19 and it's cheap enough to function as a true support ship, but watch it be 20, or even 21...
I am just happy that I don't have to stab anyone .

Looks like 21 to me. But should be able to take LWF on top for 23, add Krennic and you are at 28 with one more crew slot to fill. Kylo? + Vader and Inquisitor?

Hopefully. If this is priced similarly to the Lambda, you'd be 2pts cheaper on each- right where it'd fit best, and at the same price point with LWF.
They learned their lesson with the U-wing so now we get the Reaper on a small one.

Irony
Great to see this is coming out, I was beginning to give up hope of getting anything else from Rogue One.
I can't help wondering though if the fact Krennic is coming with this makes it unlikely we will get his shuttle in a later wave.

I was thinking about Krennic's shuttle as well. I am actually glad thatI think this does shelve it; I thought the aesthetics of it were a little outrageous. The wings on the Lambda-class are somewhat unwieldy, the Upsilon-class are pushing it already. The Delta-class is just **** silly, unless it gets the ability to legally disturb the board state by knocking around other ships while maneuvering.
I am happy with the TIE Reaper, instead.
IIRC, Krennic chose his shuttle model purely for aesthetics, he liked the slightly artistic design but it wasn't as practical as competing designs like the Lambda which got wider adoption.
