New Imperial Large Based Ship--We need one
Since they just added it to Armada, I'd like to see the Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighter cross over into X-Wing, probably as a dual Imperial/Scum ship and another part of making a Mandalorian sub-faction theme within Scum (in the same way Imperials have First Order).
I'd love to have the Sentinal, even if it just Lambda 2.0 with cards to help shuttles. Rouge Shadow would also be really cool and different.
I'd love an attack 1 16 point Lambda equivalent with lots of upgrade slots.
It seems to me that the squad ships in Armada usually make their way to X-wing or vice versa. Based on that, I'd think we're going to get the large-based Gauntlet fighter soon.

A large ship for the empire that is NO shuttle, NO PWT and has actually a decent dial? I preach that empire needs such a thing since The force awakens came out. When they announced the Upsilon I thought: MAYBE they take this chance and give the empire actually an decent large ship. It would have been perfect - if it had the K-Turn or a S-Loop. Because this shuttle is the only one that looks actually really maneuverable. But FFG missed this chance.
So my hopes would be the Skipray Blastboat or Scimitar (aka Sith Infiltrator with O-66 as pilot and crew) or Rogue Shadow (maybe.

While it is imperial in armada, if this were to come to X-wing it would most likely be scum or rebel (or both, but I hope it’s scum only because I want the U-wing to get some love, not replaced).

Yeah after I posted it occurred to me that this would probably be Scum like the Protectorate fighter. It also looks a lot like the Protectorate and somewhat like the Decimator, which may make it too close to be a large ship release. On the plus side, I think this would better fit in Imperial since it wouldn't have shuttle stats and wouldn't be outdated stat-wise like the Decimator.
Another shuttle like the Tie Reaper or Krennic Shuttle or Maul's Phantom Menace ship would be cool, but I unapologetically want absolutely nothing to do with a 2nd Imperial PWT or Turret platform. The more stuff they add like that the more Imperial list building will turn into the same boring crap the rebels and scum need to be succesful.

Sigh, No one remembers the imperial firespray... (it’s not the best option, but you could probably make something work with the generic pilot if you really wanted to) but yeah I understand the reasons for wanting it in imperial lists. Who knows, this could be a triple faction ship. (Protectors, imp super commandoes, and clan wren all used this ship at some point).

We're not likely to see additional pilots or fixes for these existing ships. However, if we get an new Large based ship (besides being totally awesome) new Imperial Only crew could really work to improve their effectiveness.

I would love to see a re-release of the Firespray. New model new tricks. New imperial crew. The whole deal.
Maybe a combined Jango Fett Firespray and Obi Wan's ship (Imperial/Rebel) expansion would be in order.

Rebels get PS11 with regen for 22 points?
(Yes I know it has 4 dice, on a moderately immobile, un-kturnable base without a back arc.)

I do think FFG is noticing the broader appeal of multi-faction ships and the Gauntlet could fall into this category. The Scurrg is a good recent example of this. Maybe we'll also get a Thrawn crew (Imp only of course) or maybe he'll be the Imp pilot.

I would love thrawn crew for X-wing, I doubt we ever get him, but hey we have tarkin and motti in epic so there’s always hope.

TBH op specialist out of imp vets should have given the empire a coordinate crew card.
