By my B&N, they still have Rogues, an Assault Frigate and an MC30 and they ae not priced at half off.

Talk to them about it, they should be- maybe they just didn’t put the stickers on them? Did you try ringing them up?

No on all accounts; but I'm going up there today and will find out. Thanks. By the way, which B&N do you frequent, so I can at least say that yours does discount them. Thanks again.

Again thanks. I'm in the south suburbs of Chicago, and my closest one is in Orland Park. I will let you know what happens when I go there.

model scale is .....a sliding one .... the CR90 is not the same scale as the VSD or ISD

consensus is each base of fighters is a formation... how many that is, is up to you the player :p... a base could be a full sqn of 12 or a flight of 3 or anything in between

Yeah, one unit of TIE fighters is probably a whole lot of TIEs. The Darth Vader squadron is probably just Vader and the two wingmen who don’t have a lot to do.

Are you kidding? Those Vader wingmen have important duties including, but not limited to...

  • Getting shot by scruffy-looking nerfherders.
  • Saying "Look out!"
  • Crashing into walls.
  • Crashing into other wingmen.
  • Crashing into Darth Vader.

It takes a lot of training to make that look so easy.

Exactly.

It bothered me to think that Vader had Escort just because he flies a TIE Advanced. Then I realized that the only time we see him in a fighter is during the trench run, which is hardly a regular dogfight. I decided that Vader probably flies a lot like Anakin — a lot of hot dogging, high-risk/high reward stuff that he consistantly pulls off through sheer skill, luck, and force manipulation. The “best star pilot in the galaxy” can’t BE escorted, and the simplest way to do that in the game mechanics was to just give him Escort.

A) I'm living in Oak Lawn, and you can name drop several of the others around us that SHOULD have it. One of my buddies bought an entire fleet at one out west (handwavey, Downer's Grove or Lisle or one of those).

B) If you're available, we play Thursday night at 6 at Fair Game in Downer's Grove.....

No joy. they had an assault Frigate and Home One, but at regular price. Thanks for the 411 anyway
