Critique heavily.....

It depends on whether you expect to be Navigating or Engineering.

If you expect to spam nothing but Engineerings, well, it works...

The only problem is, of course, Navigating not for speed changes, but for yaw

You might be best to change Eng Teams to Nav Officers for that reason... Just so your GarmBucks Nav tokens can give you Yaw Clicks.

There’s a saying: friends don’t let friends bring Fleet Ambush. Since I don’t know you I’ll just strongly discourage it. :P Contested Outpost will likely serve you better in the event they outdeploy you with bombers, or put BTAvenger on a flank.

Drop gunnery teams, it’s 21 points of bloat. You will be needing to be medium range to make effective use of your front arc, that means your second shot from the front is likely to be at something rubbish. You are also much better double arcing the same target than splitting your fire surf gunnery teams.

that then means you can have 21 points worth of something good -XI7s would be my choice...

Those are Battle Cruisers. In terms of damage output, the bloat is about the same as putting GTs on an ISD-II, at all ranges. In short, good investment. Especially if you need to use the double black flak.

Which doesn’t mean they shouldn’t...:P If you want to make an argument Gunnery Teams are bad, most people would consider that a pretty bold point of view, probably warranting its own thread.
