We had a dissagreement as to how these two powers worked at our last session.

Weapon Jinx: Do all (SP) weapons stop working during the "off" effect? Because there is a separate part of the power for jamming a weapon, it was argued that only "machines" were globally effected, not guns.

Sense Presence: Do you know reletive direction/movement of life forms? Can you tell the difference between "50 randomly scattered bodies" from "10 behind you and 40 in front of you"? Or how about there is a group of 20 guys approaching you?

Well, the errata changed Weapon Jinx to only affecting one item, rather than every item. And yes, SP weapons are affected (otherwise it would have been specified that they weren't).

Sense Presence: I would say you'd know the rough direction of the life forms, and it'd only pick up living life forms, not bodies.

The description of Sense Presence on page 167 should have the following addition inserted between the second and third sentences: “You are aware of the direction of each life-form, but not their exact distance or location. You can distinguish between different sizes (eg. miniscule, puny…enormous, massive) but you cannot determine exact species or race.”
