Hi Guys / Girls,
I have recently tried a demo run on the new system with a medium sized group, everything went well, although a couple of clarifications were needed by the end of the night.
I have read through the rules several times and could have sworn that somewhere among them it stated that 2 boon's can be converted into one success. However since playing this demo game i cannot find this rule anywhere. So i am now wondering whether i actually imagined this rule, or am just getting it confused with Sigmar's Comet.
Below i will list the various uses for each die, could someone check them through and let me know if i have left any out, or mis-interpreted them.
Various Boon Rolls.
1) 2 boon's - General Rule - remove 1 stress / fatigue
2) X boon's - Card Activation (1,2,3 ect)
3) X boon's - Roleplay element - GM chooses extra good stuff based around the check. (for example a failed check, would not fail so badly and go slightly more in the players favour)
4) 2 boon's - Turn into one success - As mentioned not sure if i imagined this one, or read it on the forums as someones house rule.
Various Bane Rolls.
1) 2 bane's - General Rule - Add 1 stress / fatigue
2) X bane's - Card Activation (1,2,3 ect)
3) X bane's - Roleplay element - as per boon
Sigmar's Comet Roll.
1) Comet - Converts to one success.
2) Comet - Converts to one boon.
3) Comet - Activates comet effect on Card.
4) Comet - Activate Weapon CR Rating
5) Comet - Cause a Critical Wound - Not sure if this is the same as generates the CR rating, otherwise you could use boons to activate CR, and comet to activate another critical - need clarification here.
5) Comet - Roleplay Element - as someone else gave an example, Comets is an extreame roll of luck - therefore someone failing a jump check between two rooftops would have some good fortune if they rolled a comet, such as falling into a cart of hay ect.
Chaos Star Roll.
1) Chaos star - Negates one success.
2) Chaos star - Counts as a bane
3) Chaos star - activate card effect.
4) Chaos star - Roleplay Element - As per comet, but in reverse.
Thanks in Advance for any advice on missing effects or mis-interpretations.
