Is anyone creating a Jakku board.

I would think the battlemap would work with a Tatooine map by simply swapping out the pieces on the map surface.

There would just be a LOT of damaged ships on the battlefield.

I’ve got a desert mat with some Tatooine terrain to go on top of it. I’ve been wanting to do some Jakku terrain as well, but it’s tough to find models that are cheap enough to chop up and the right scale.

You might look at paper models to make crashed ships.

I was looking at star destroyer model kits to see if i could find one big enough a few weeks ago. I think it can be done on a 6x4 table if you only use part of the star destroyer, like some engines and the bridge buried in the sand.. crashed tie fighters, y wings and x wings might work out better though..

At Legion scale, an Imperial Star Destroyer would be roughly 110' feet long, so, I would guess you could probably have the battle on one single turret, or maybe using a death star terrain mat to simulate hull plating.

I have a Disney popcorn bucket that I want to do like Rey's home, but may do grass base instead of sand. Just not sure yet as my table will be more green.

I thought about doing a star destroyer as a table edge and gave up due to the size required for this scale, no way I could make it fit.
