Could someone elaborate on trigger mechanics or clarify wording during the end phase? I don't see any timing steps within the end phase. I've seen threads on Cloaking Device's interaction with Stygium Particle Accelerator and also Cikatro but the timing seems a little strange to me.

For Stygium's effect upon a failed Cloaking Device: I'm guessing evade tokens aren't discarded because the "during end of round" effect is actually "at the start of the end phase"?

In regard to the first round of using Cikatro and Cloaking Device: is his mechanic actually following an earlier timing than Cloaking Device or do they both happen at the same time and we just ignore the resolution of Cloaking Device? I know the token stays after he's removed the card, but I wonder what happens to the first trigger of Cloaking Device.

Cloaking Device - At the end of each round.

Cikatro - At the start of the End Phase.

Stygium - When you either decloak or perform a cloak action, you may perform a free evade action.

"If Cikatro Vizago is used to replace a Cloaking Device, the effect of the text of Cloaking Device stops and if the ship has a cloak token, that token is not discarded."

First: Evade tokens are not affected by anyone of the cards you mention. They are removed as normal in the End phase.

You are equipped a Cloaking Device. On your "Perform Action Step" you make a Cloack action. In this moment you may use the action granted by Stygium.

"At the end of each round" is "after the End Phase". If Cikatro removes the Cloaking Device, there is no card (see UPGRADE CARDS and FAQ) to trigger any effect when the end of round is achieved. The Cloak token remains in the ship. The text Cloaking Device stops.

"Cloak tokens are not removed during the End Phase." (see Cloak Action on Rules Reference). The Cloak Token remain in play until you decide to remove it "at the start of the Activation phase", decloak. In this moment you may use the action granted by Stygium.

Each of the effects you have mentioned have a different timing window.

And one more little FAQ nugget:

"Stygium Particle Accelerator: When used with Cloaking Device, if you are forced to decloak at the end of the round and choose to perform the free evade action from Stygium Particle Accelerator, the evade token is not discarded."

Basically, the decloak from a failing Cloaking Device happens later in the round than the 'remove unused focus/evade tokens' step.

My question is about differences between the End of Round and End Phase. There doesn't seem to be steps defining the End Phase but there are cards that say "at the start of the End Phase" that happen before others that are"during the End Phase".

I don't see it listed in the Order of Gameplay, so because of the FAQ I just assume it happens after or at the end of the End Phase.

I want to be sure there's no reminder text here and that they are different as they are described. It would be nice to have the steps of the End Phase listed.

But in this sentence, i have noted thad the end phase has been closed. So no discard sub-phase for any token you gain "at the end of the round". Stygium FAQ only remarques that.

NOTE: I must add "and no evade tokens gained from Stygium Accelerator are removed" to this sentence
