Got any I do.

Felix Gaeta

Support Character

Setup: FTL Control

Skill cards: 1 Politics, 2 Tactics, 2 Engenering

Helpful: When another player starts their turn on the same space as Geata they draw two extra skill cards, from skill sets they have.

Math Whiz: Action: once a game move the Jump Preparation marker one spot towards auto jump.

Self Doubt: Gaeta can't be president, any choice that makes Geata president can't be choosen. If Geata is Admiral, he can't use the action listed on the Admmiral card, and all admiral chooses are played as president chooses.

The drawback is too harsh, in my opinion. Preventing a character from gaining Presidency or Admirality effectively removes him from one of the inherent important aspects of the game. A limitation this way is not feasible the way I see it.

On the other hand, his other two abilities are both really good. I don't think his drawback is much worse than, say, Starbuck's or Adama's.

Drawback much worse than Starbuck's, at least...

I had similar thoughts to Gaeta. The limitation is actually a very good limitation for him as it's also his personality. He is an excellent support character, but even in the show, he does not show inclining toward.

Starts on FTL. Gains 2 Political, 2 Tactics, and 1 in any of Pol, Tac, Eng, or Leadership.

My limitation was that he will not be president or vice president.

His crack once per game action can be taken on any turn to Jump Galactica 2 spaces higher if the current victory total is 7 or less. So from the first space, it would be risking -3, the second space -1. He would not get a penalty for the regular spaces. Draw a Kobol card and resolve, but discard the card upon completion. This does not contribute to advancing the goal of reaching Kobol. As a human, he can save the ship...or, as a hidden cylon, he can prevent something good if they're close to an objective and then reveal.

His once per turn action is that if they jump on his turn, he will choose which card is played to determine distance to Kobol.

In this way, he's got crack power, but crack limitations too. He could manipulate any which way he wants. In the end, I think he'd be a challenging player to play.

I'd like to come up with some ideas for Billy, Anders, and Dualla as well.
