Is he really the Manc Dalai Lama? Why is a bloke from Manchester competing in Toronto?

I placed 2nd in the Phoenix regional winning all 3 games but in the end I didn't win by big enough margins. Round 1 I slowed down my ISD into a Gladiator sandwich and it cost me my ISD and I had a feeling it would cost me getting an 8-3 instead of a 9-2 or 10-1. The tournament was very well ran and it was nice to get 16 out considering the past 2 only had 10.

Curious about that BTA Kuat in first place. Only flipping two tokens seems a bit underwhelming against the kind of hard targets you normally want that thing to one-shot.

In my first game double arched an ISD had a con fire command for my comand bta rolled side to front first 5 damage he redirected 3 took two on the front I had to get 13 damage to blow him away and now he had was contain rolled my 8 dice used racks added a black with con fire 3 reds 2 blues six blacks I did 14 damage after leading shots reroll, dead ISD. The second game was much the same circumstance but I used the con fire Thrawn had to get that extra dice where I needed it. Sure advance projectors will ruin it's day, but I took a gamble and won. I was able to win big because I never lost my ISD thanks to ECM, and some timely engineering commands from Thrawn, and sure you could take a ISD-1 but you give up the defensive retrofit slot and that leads to you dieing more. You could take Tau yes, but then you give up strategic advisor and he was incredibly nice to have. Personaly I have found I can take out ISDs more consistently with this Kuat variant then the standard ISD-I, dont get me wrong the ISD-I can take out an ISD in one activation, but as I said before from personal experience I feel the Kuat is more consistent at it. also I thought I would see more mc-75s and I really only need to exsaust the two tokens. Basically the Kuat sacrifice flipping 4 tokens for more raw firepower and rerolls out the side.
