I'm bad at this. I feel I'm close to getting something though...

  • 20 - Ezra, Rage, Courier Droid, R3-A2
  • 22 - Fenn Rau, Flight Assist Astro, Veteran Instincts
  • 28 - Jess Pava, Flight Assist Astro, Autothrusters
  • 30 - Lowhrrick, Trick Shot, Tactician, Chopper

Sorry for the formatting. I'm theory building in excel. So, yes, I have some odd choices but there are reasons for it. Rage on Ezra? If I'm stuck flying slow, I'm doing greens and becoming unstressed. He shoots too late in the order to depend on R3-A2 self-stressing. The list itself is strong in close formation but does not actually need to fly tight like FSR. It makes Jess better, but against a harpoon swarm the list should be ok at breaking formation and running havoc. This is not meant to be a fortressing build - I don't think it'd work!

I would trade AT on Jess for IA - the odds of a PS 3 formation jouster getting to use AT is minimal. That leaves room for Inspiring Recruit on Ezra to potentially ditch more stress.

Or better yet, Snap Shot, to provide stress for you and an enemy!

I don't see you getting rage off more than once. Between the 2 stress rage gives you, plus another for the droid, you're adding way more than you can remove. snap shot, or tactician give more stress without using actions. you could switch autothrusters to integrated astromech and you'd have 2 more points. The idea looks fun and mean, especially stressing one ship out with Ezra and denying mods with Fenn.

And for the record, I think it could work. Ezra would do very well against the ghost/Fenn lists.

Agreed. If I had a reliable way to stay stressed I would have added it. It's a one point self-stress in the event I accidentally remove it! Ezra ultimately doesn't want to be stress free. I can however put Hera crew onboard to free up his dial.

I think @Greebwahn raised a good point on the autothrusters and your seconding pretty much finalizes it. I put it on there because of TLTs and the fact I don't trust green dice.

Leaves me a point for either bid or maybe Intel Agent on Fenn after putting Hera on Ezra.

1 point bid is not going to win the PS 11 race. You need at lest 3 point bid to win, 98 to stand a chance, 1 point bid is throwing a point away IMHO.

I could drop Rage and spend the remaining point for Stay on Target for Ezra. Gives me red straight maneuvers if needed and sometimes useful.

I suppose if I lose the EPT for Ezra entirely and drop the tactician I could squeeze Hotshot Copilot in... Might be the better choice?

Worried about the offensive output, but looks annoying as **** to play against.

With Ezra, you can always pre-stress him with a red maneuver in turn one, then just hold it. Also, remember that, when you need to go slow when holding a single stress token, you always have a white-2-straight on your dial as the situation warrants (dial a red maneuver while stressed).

Well, flew the hotshot version today and went 2-2. Lost to a timewarp Assaj/treadmill with Jabba... By 4 points. Also lost to bombs. One Bomblette did 6 for 6 damage to me. Damage output is low and while the list is very tanky it does take damage. It's very interesting is how I'd describe it.
